Update: After I posted the previous post I tried to run the game. It appears that everything is back to normal. I will rerun the integrity checker to see if it is ok, I just quit the game and did not get the errors previously gotten. -

Thanks I did it and I have 13 files failed to validate. How do I force the game to reacquire the bad files? I haven't gone the uninstall the game route yet. -

Additional info. I tried to get industries to load without errors by disabling all assets and mods and without success. I am beginning to believe it is a Steam issue. -

Hello I am a refugee from SimCity 4. Sadly I can no longer run SC4 on my machine so I got City Skylines, which I like better. What DLCs are defacto required or most suggested? I don't have a lot of spare money so I need to get the most bang for my buck. I have a lot of mods like "Move it", TRP, etc. Thanks

Got the oldest drivers from the card manufacturers website I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the card drivers. I get the same result.

Thanks, I already tried that. Using an older driver is problematic as I just installed the latest version. I just rolled the driver install back to 9/27/2017 sadly I do not have an older version. I retired to start the game and still the same.

I have tried almost everything I could think of before posting. I am now in the process of reinstalling SC4 without any success. I even tried to install on another drive in my machine (Wouldn't even load) Here is the current target line "C:\Users\cmmin\Desktop\SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition (Download)\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -f -d:Software - -Cursors:color256 -Intro:off -gp -CPUCount:1

Another thing, if I go to uninstall SC4 it doesn't show up in any of the uninstaller programs I have. I have to use the uninstaller in the folder SC4 Delux folder. Maybe this could be the issue

I bought the digital version in 2013 when I built my previous PC. I was using Win7 at the time and installed it where ever the installer put it. I did have it running on this machine (Win10)until Sept. when I went thru the update crash. I am just getting around reinstalling it. I am including the config log Maybe this will help

Still, have the same issues CPU count is 1 too I also updated the graphics card drivers
