Hi folks. I haven't posted in forever but ran into my first problem with this game. So I want to design a German style city. I know I need the Deluxe Edition (which I have) and to plunk down the Brandenburg Gate in order to influence the style of homes built. However, when I do this, the homes and businesses still look like the standard US style homes. I am playing in Sandbox mode. Does that matter?

I played through it twice so far. I wish more features were available, but over all I really enjoyed it. Now I'm looking forward to the game even more!

The solution is to make the file name unique.. I renamed it Clint_DxDiag.txt and it uploaded perfectly! That worked!! Thank you!

Hi! I'm 40, married with 2 dogs, 2 cats and an aquarium of fish. I am self-employed as a web analytics consultant, and I work from home - which allows me to sneak in a little bit of gaming here and there when I have some downtime between projects. I've played SimCity since the classic one came out and have been patiently waiting for a new version. I am hoping the one in 2013 is better than Societies was (I'm glad Maxis is back at the helm again!). I'll remain optimistic until I get a chance to play it.

I've been trying to sign up to the beta and I'm getting this error: File upload error. Could not move uploaded file. DXDIAG file is required. The file is a .txt file that I saved after running DxDiag.exe. Any ideas why this error could occur?
