Has anyone had success changing the game resolution with the Steam version of the game? If so, some instructions on how to change it would be great. Not having any luck with existing instructions in the General Discussion forums.

The Rotunda (University Of Virginia) Description: The University of Virginia's iconic dome located on The Lawn in the original grounds of UVA. It was built between 1822-1826, designed by Thomas Jefferson, stands 77 ft (23.5 m) tall, and is modeled after The Parthenon in Rome. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rotunda_(University_of_Virginia) Why this would be beneficial for the game or community: The Rotunda has been described by many as one of the proudest achievements of architecture in the United States. Combined with Jefferson's nearby home of Monticello, it is one of only three World Heritage Sites in the country protected by UNESCO. It's civic value would be worthy of many cities and serves as a monument to American architecture, education, and the legacy of Thomas Jefferson.

So you want to build a European city...
Robineus replied to Robineus's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Thank you, my point exactly. The Euro-contemporary set is a good start, but I'm looking for something more antique, something specific, at least in terms of BATs and such. The Maxis sets are extremely repetitive, especially over large cities, and I'm looking for custom content to give my cities a little flavor, something more authentic and in my case, German. Regarding the grid, oh well. NAM helps to some degree, but not perfect. -
I've been meaning to start working on some cities with more of a European feel to them, in particular Germany. I downloaded an Autobahn mod for RHW but that's about it other than some Euro landmarks and such. So far most of my cities have been very block-oriented and square, something typical of most American cities, and I still utilize much of the original Maxis in-game buildings in my cities. If there are any suggestions to urban planning, mods, BATs, really just anything to give an authentic European look, feel free to give them below. I am especially looking for buildings to replace the Maxis ones, since they too are heavily based off of American architecture. Thanks!

Love it! Reminds me of my days living in Germany. Been meaning to get some German-styled BATs myself.

I believe it was the 45-degree wide radius puzzle piece. I had used it as an extension to the highway and didn't place it over a preexisting curve. I'll try it again once I get my computer back from the repair shop and if the problem persists I'll post a pic of it. - Robineus

Hi all, I just downloaded NAM along with the RHW and NWM addons and was messing around with them, trying out some interesting features and such, when I came across a problem that I haven't found a solution to. On a simple 4-RHWS I laid out the 45-degree curved diagonal turn and noticed that the far sides of the turn (yet to be extended) in both directions had the standard 2-RHW instead of my orignal 4-RHW. When I tried to extend the highway past the turn I got two 2-RHWs instead of the 4-RHW I was intending. I looked up the FAQs and readme and it seems like no one else is having this issue and figure it's probably a simple mistake I'm making. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
