I like the partially limited-access setup to the OP/NB Pkwy. Excellent work, as always!
  2. Cape May, NJ ... A look ahead

It's all looking very nice. I've been to the Avalon/Stone Harbor area a few times, and I'm still trying to picture in my mind what it would look like with that Oceandrive Expressway running through town.
  3. Calivada State

I like that you put a small shopping area nearby; all those visitors will certainly need commerce!
  4. Maxisland -- Revisited

You're really spreading out quite nicely along the coastal area! And as others have said, your suburban areas look very nice.
  5. Calivada State

Very nice setup to the entrance and parking areas!
  6. Miramonte-Guinevere Metro Area

Now that just looks bloody brilliant! (is all I have to say...)
  7. Calivada State

Nice look to the rail yards and port areas! hmmm... studying with freight trains going by sounds like a challenge to me... And thanks for showing the pulled out shot of the stadium area, as I requested. It looks really natural, by the way; you've set it up quite nicely.

You know, I was just about to make a comment similar to what Socorocks had said earlier about the connectivity and block sizes in some of your areas. I'm glad that's straightened out now. I myself tried some fancy street layouts early on to avoid the grid, as so many people like to say. But ultimately, realism for me consists of orthogonal intersections and ease of access. For me, this is possible, even without getting a grid look. So I've been going back and fixing some of those errors, but a lot of it is quite built up just as with yours. Hey, we build how we know, right? Ultimately, that's how different regions get their unique looks, and yours certainly has a unique look! I've been away for a bit and missed the whole tornado thing, but everything's looking great here!
  9. I, too, really like the way you have your industrial areas set up.
  10. Port Seastone, Crystal County, TX

Exciting, intriguing! I like how you planned out your residential subdivisions near the schools, which is very often the focus of suburban neighborhoods.

I just noticed I haven't made a comment on your city yet, which is odd because I've really been enjoying your story and looking forward to updates. Maybe it's one of those, it's so good that I don't know what to say things...

Well, I for one hope things work out for you. I like how you've got your light rail system well integrated (this from me, who is not a big fan of light rail systems in general). And the university area looks great, with the tall apartment buildings surrounded by smaller row homes and single homes. Excellent start overall! You've definitely got a professional building style.
  13. Cape May, NJ ... A look ahead

Yes, people in Jersey do resent getting all their news from out of state. NJN is a poor substitute for a network, really... Trisha Takanawa... Marble Championship... you've certain brightened my day! Excellent as always!
  14. Very interesting that you are starting so early on and working in real time. I would never have that kind of patience
  15. Melonys Melon Farms

    mmm... melony goodness! Excellent!
  16. Denny's Classic Diner

This came sooner than I expected! You are just turning these out left and right. Thanks!!
  17. obsolete Victorian Style El Rail Station

    Another excellent creation. Thanks!
  18. Turry Metro Region to Scale

Yay, you're back! And so is the story! With a good business venture always comes the risks associated with it, eh? The embankments do seem very suited for the city, as does the water mod.
  19. Miramonte-Guinevere Metro Area

I like the way you use a mixture of roads and streets to separate your primary arterials from more local access roads.
  20. The Land

Nice little shore settlement. It'll be nice to see how this all develops in the long run. And the rough map is nice too.
  21. Oooh, a settlement is coming in the near future? Excellent!
  22. Miramonte-Guinevere Metro Area

Looking very nice, as I would expect. I like that last picture, with the commercial boulevard and the adjacent residential developments.
  23. Acorn Creek Region - An American Story

Nice that you show planned projects! Always good to see how people change things in their cities.
  24. Ocean Point

You're expanding out so nicely; these look like real aerial shots!!
  25. RLS Homes The Highgrove

Another great home from you, sg! Thanks!
