I'd always seen this at the bottom of your posts, SkiGeek, but had never clicked on it. The information on education is excellent; I'm going to try the tactics you mentioned. Since Rush Hour has come out, do you continue to use the three-tile median roads or have you switched over to avenues? Also, Anasazi looks great; are you still working on it?

Nice city, downtown looks good but needs to fill that empty space. All the districts are good, and the airport is excellent. Did you use demand mods in this city? It has a huge demand for the number of people living there.

Looks good, although I think it could be darker all around. And, like they said, darker on the base, lighter on the top.

simmars-forum-threads Sim Mars, a SC4 Conversion
Yellowlab replied to GouRou's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
Wait, you're saying the timeframe for the completion of SimMars is one year? Let's be realistic here. A SimMars SC4 conversion would be an enormous challenge. It took Maxis, a team of professional game engineers, years to make SimCity 4. How long will it take a group of 10-20 amateurs, skilled or not? If you're talking about having all new features like looking through the ground and other stuff, you're talking gobs of programming. It'll take years. If you're talking about basically SimCity with new buildings, it'll still take more than a year if you want Maxis-caliber buildings. I'm not trying to pop the bubble, but this just doesn't seem like a feasible idea to me. Who knows, perhaps I'm just overly pessimistic. -
