I don't think I could have that much patience, lol. I used to use an action replay to get to lv 100 on Diamond with my old DS Lite.

Anyway, hopefully next time I'll be ready to defeat you with a stronger team. That was a blast, thanks for battling me!

Haha it does take a lot of time but I usually use rare candies at around the lv90 mark :P Thanks as well! I'll have a stronger team too hehehe.

  2. The stereotype is true; Canadians really are polite. Someone broke into my family's rental care in Vancouver, but at least he/she didn't steal anything. <.<

      Oh Canada, you.

Didn't have to get braces cause my teeth are naturally straight :D

@CapTon: You are lucky! I had to get braces because two of my teeth would have grown in sideways and my wisdom teeth would have caused more problems.

      Sorry to hear about that.

  5. Ask a forumer anything...

+1 On topic: I would stay on Earth. I would rather go after the first mission to make sure everything is safe. Have you ever moved from one country to another? If so, are you glad you did?
  6. Ask a forumer anything...

Not so much. I don't care for sweet foods. What do you east for breakfast most often?
  7. Can You Pass A U.S. Citizenship Test?

    46/50 - I'm surprised I did that good. The four I missed were 3, 6, 16, and 36.
  8. The Next Person...

I wish. The next person listens to video game music for entertainment.

  11. Love/Hate

Nope. It sounds terrifying. Wait... I think you're in the wrong topic. I'll say hate. Industrial robots
  12. Rain on July 4th parades?

There's a 30% chance of rain all day today, and we had a dust storm blow through last evening. That counts for something, right?
  13. Ask a forumer anything...

It depends. While in school, I have to wake up around 6:00. While on vacation or on the weekend, I usually try to wake up around 7:00, but sometimes I sleep in because I missed sleep overnight due to homework, video games, etc. I don't like sleeping in, so I don't do it unless I really feel tired. The morning is my favorite time of day, and I don't like to miss it. What is the best fireworks display you have seen?
  14. Ask a forumer anything...

Rarely. Only when I'm standing in a line or something. What do you think of Old Spice commercials?
  15. Hi guys and gals. I am thinking about selling my collection of Legos that I have accumulated over the years, but I don't know how much they're worth. If any of you are Lego aficionados, I would appreciate your advice so I don't get ripped off on Craigslist. I have two large plastic bins containing Lego pieces in a variety of sizes, as well as some various Bionicle and Technic parts. I also have an assortment of minifigure parts and accessories that can create around 60 minifigures, some from brands such as Indiana Jones, Spongebob Squarepants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Star Wars. The one bin is around 21"x15"x5" and the other is about 16"x10"x7". I don't know how much either of the bins weigh with the Legos inside or how many pieces I have in total, but both containers are nearly full. I also have 2 16x32 plates, one tan and the other white, a 32x32 green plate, and a 48x32 fort/mountain-like plate from an Indiana Jones set. Here are some pictures of the minifigures and bins: Thanks for your help.
  16. Pricing Advice for Selling Legos

I don't think I had anything rare. I know there weren't any ghost minifigs, but I had some regular white skeletons.

  18. Pricing Advice for Selling Legos

Thanks for your help, guys. I followed your advice, Yoshi, and asked for $270, and the buyer agreed.

Nintendo. Treyarch games don't appeal to me at all. Are there any upcoming games you are particularly excited for?
  20. Rain on July 4th parades?

Yeah, in the valley we don't usually get any rain until monsoon season, which is arguably the most exciting time of year. Officially, it starts on June 15, but on average, it starts closer to July 7 - close to the Fourth of July. So who knows? We might get lucky with some monsoon storms. Considering the low chance for rain, I don't think we'll be having any flash floods in the valley, but anyone who builds a house in a wash here has a death wish.
  21. Rain on July 4th parades?

Rain on the 4th would be the best thing for us here in Arizona. It's been 66 days since we've had any. Sadly, the forecast does not predict much, if any, precipitation for us. Edit: Scratch that. Apparently, it has been over a hundred days since the last rain in the valley.
  22. Pricing Advice for Selling Legos

Alright, here's an update: After borrowing a scale from my neighbor, I determined that the weight of the Lego pieces themselves is about 30 lbs. Based on the average cost per pound of Legos, $5-7 (source), I asked $200 for the pieces and base plates. Then, for the minifigure parts, I asked $15. Since the Mindstorms Intelligent brick has a busted screen, I asked $75 for all the parts and software (which I think is too low considering the parts themselves cost about $310 new). So, in total, I asked $290. The buyer responded with a counteroffer of $250. Is that reasonable, considering I'm selling the Mindstorms parts, too? Do you think I could make more selling the parts separately?
  23. Pricing Advice for Selling Legos

I really wish I had a scale. Knowing how much the Legos weigh would make this process a lot easier.
  24. The Guess Who's Next Game!

    You have failed. Congratulations. Tonraq?
  25. So, you want to visit Canada?

I'm going there soon. I'll be visiting Vancouver and Victoria.
