Orion's Belt Modpack | Bigger Cities Made Easy!
Apohye commented on TheCraftKid's file in SC13 Programs & Tools
Sorry, ill be more specific. All the vanilla roads work fine on the initial launch and build of a city. Within the normal city limits, not the mods extended limits. After quitting the game and logging back in after some time has elapsed (I dont have a specific time period in which this takes place) the vanilla roads do not function normally. I am not able to build through them, on them, I cannot extend them, I cannot plop anything on them or zone for RCI, and I cannot bulldoze them. All previous buildings attached on those roads can be bulldozed but they have a "no connection" zot over them. I have uninstalled the mods and reinstalled twice and am still encountering the same problem. I believe the game still recognizes that the roads are there but it is as if they are part of the terrain and cannot be bulldozed. When trying to build new roads over the old it says "cannot connect to these roads" or such. I can build new vanilla roads though. Thank you for your replies.- 103 Comments

I read through and searched but I couldnt find why after setting up and playing a city, then reentering the city the next day all my roads are not "there". I cant connect to them I cant bulldoze them and all the RCI that was connected to them start getting the "no connection" symbol above them. Not sure what is going on.- 103 Comments

You. Didn't. Read. The. How To Use Properly. Given that your city has ore apparently everywhere in it, the resource maps are stretched out to where you have 4x the amount you would usually have. If the Raw Ore Map shows a large patch of ore in the middle of the map, it is really enlarged to fit inside the 4K boundaries. For more information, check out the Project Orion download page and see the resources Yayie has provided. :) I see. Sorry I can't read sometimes when I get excited >.< lol I read and understand why now thank you! I'm not too interested in the bigger map size to be honest anyway. Just trying to get everything else working properly makes me happy lol- 103 Comments

After a few days and a few new cities I am able to now plop any density RCI at anytime. Its weird. I am sure I wont be able to later on though -_- I also changed the resolution on my game and all of the densities show up on my UI now. =) One problem I did find though, which I am not sure if it is from the mods, is that even though there is plenty of ore in my city, when trying to plop the ore extraction building it says there is no ore under it. Very frustrating as I built an infrastructure to support the mining only to have my plans crushed by this stupid error. >.<- 103 Comments

You're welcome, but I think your screen resolution is too small for the version I put in the pack. XD I guess I'll need to make a version for Low Res users. :) Also, before you can plop medium density and up, you actually have to grow some of the type of development you want; it's almost like unlocking the buildings by growing one successfully in your city. (It's actually an unintended effect, and I've had the same problem before.) There is always a solution! Thank you for the quick reply! Ya im playing on a 13in Macbook Pro, which is probably why the UI is running off the screen like you said.- 103 Comments
