My Deluxe Edition Disc 2 No longer works and im wondering if i can buy a new disc and use it on the installed game or will i need to reinstall the game with a new serial code?

Simple answer is, yes. Patches change the default game files which will then not permit the installation any official patches. And that's about all we're allowed to say on the subject. thanks mate. well its time take the first step of the 10,000 mile to hunt out that cd then lol

Does this mean that if you have a genuine copy, you cant use the 'no disc patch' on the game if you want lighting? I do have a genuine game but I've lost the disc somewhere in the house so I am using a no disc Patch for the time being until I find that disc.

you may need to keep the commercial in one city while the others can be industrial and residential keep the commercial in one spot to get beautiful skyscrapers have the tax of the high wealth commercial office at 1.0 for a while until they flock there if you need money it should not harm raise the taxes but never go above 9.0 otherwise the demand will tank and if its above 12.0 you will see abanded towers however you will also need to provide easy access to the commercial city such as trains, subways, monorails, highways and buses with plenty of avenues. place parks and plazas. you may want to consider putting residential towers in there if you want more money but wait until there is a demand that sky-rockets from poor to rich plant 4x4 residential and commercial squares to get the level 8 buidings.
