Your tree-lined avenue is simply awesome, Choco! I am always impressed by the way you present your CJ - lots of trees with an excellent blend of colours from differnet types of buildings. Buildings, roads, and the environment just co-exist in Green Depra! Palm plaza looks so solemn and unique in one of your mosaic... and not to mention the use of brick streets that gives Green Depra another touch of realisticity! Your CJ is just stunning, beuatiful, brilliant, awesome and colourful! You've never failed to surpise me with all your excellent mosaics and city layout! Keep up the good work! P.S.: Sorry for not commenting for the past few updates... I am so ashamed of myself!

@sloppet: Welcome back! Great to see you around, and thanks for taking the effort to comment! Hope you've enjoyed reading this CJ! @Cobb32118: Hey Cobb, actually credits should also go to you too! In case you didn't notice, this CJ also featured your Emerald Park and the Cobb Oceanic condominiums! I have to say those are your classic uploads! Thanks for being such an active BATer, giving we CJers have plenty of buildings to fit into their city to weave out a nice city you see now. I've tried to grow 13th street condos and the Veinte Building... now waiting for them to grow as to demolish skyscrapers that I didn't want which grow on the spot @Fabiocb: Thanks a lot Fabio for your comment! I am glad that you enjoyed viewing the mosaics! @Micah: Thank you Micah for your kind comment! Thanks a lot for complimenting~ hope the transportation system didn't blow you too far away! Thanks everyone for your comment. Now I'm in the midst of making a few mosacis for the next update, which will be posted tomorrow (yahoo! ) so stay tuned, folks! [Edit] Welcome to page 11!!!

@wouanagaine: Thank you a lot for your continouous support! There is actually a trick in laying out trail parks - just leave some small space, and just use your creativity to manipulate the pieces! You can download the BSC Trail Park (V2) here, and also various awesome and breath-taking addon lots here! @Sisu: Thank you for your compliment! I will release the next update on Friday or during the weekend! @GMT: Thanks for dropping by! And a million thanks for your compliment @mightygoose: Hi there! I am happy that you've enjoyed the mosaics! Yup, Bixel's buildings are simply AWESOME!!! Credtis to Bixel for making the mosaics look so nice! bixel would cry at the beautiful area you have created with his HKbatsquote> I love this line!!! Oh, before I forget, here is the instruction to download the sunken railways (off a Japanese BAT site): 1. The page is translated, so everything will be in some extent of broken english (since online translators aint' perfect) 2. You click on the "Building display room". 3. When you reached the download page, click on the "Semi-underground railway structure" 4. There are 3 files for you to download: (i) The entrance part (ii) Additional Set 1 (iii) Additional Set 2 5. They DO NOT HAVE dependencies (cheers~) 6. You're done! You can click here to access the download page. @mayormommy: Thanks for commenting! Well, there is an extensive use of parks in the ctiy, so don't get shocked when you see the figure for park maintanence: $7000+ a month @SpecialEddie: Thank you! Hope you've enjoyed the update... @Bombastix: Oh great to know that you love the beaches. Here is the link to the beaches: FM Beaches For Irregular Coasts. @TWrecks: Oh, I should really thank you and the HK BAT Team for coming up with such wonderful buildings!!! They fit perfectly well into the cityscape, and most importantly they are realistic (since they're replica of real buildings ) and they are mostly R$ and R$$, means they can readily grow in my cities as long as the stages are reached and the required tileset is active! Cheers for HK BAT Team!!! @threeswept: Thanks for taking the time to comment! Hope to see you around!!! Thanks to everybody for commenting and supporting this CJ!!!

Hi all! Sorry for this long lapse in update! No thanks to RLS geez. Okay, forget about that. So the past few week I get a little bit of time to play SC4, so it took me almost 2 weeks to finish on middle tile city called Longshore City. Click here to view the large version (253kb). Click here to view the large version (244kb). Let me tell you more about the city. It is established in the early 1950s, meant to be just a quiet little town. Who knows that the beaches was so attractive that hotels sprung up along the beaches. In an effort to attract more visitors and tourists, the Botania Tourism Board (BTB) spent millions of tax payers money on extending the beaches. that's quite a lot of money! Now, about than 1/5 of the city area is meant for toruism purposes, for example, buildings new hotels, golf courses, parks, eateries and entertainment facilities! Okay, so now let's start with the pictures! You might wonder why there are so little pictures this time. Because... We Have A Total Of 6 Mosaics!!! Enjoy!!! I've made 6 of them so as to make up the long lapse in update... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hope you all have enjoyed viewing all these mosaics! @mightygoose: Thanks for taking out some time to comment! Glad that you've enjoyed viewing the mosaics! In this update I've uploaded 6 mosaics... hope you like them! @augustachris: Thank you! They are actually made by the BSC team! You can download them from the STEX here! (BLS GA Farm NA01) @Cobb32118: Hi there! Thanks for commenting and for your compliment! @collgab: Yep! That's why the region is named Botania! @GMT: You love mosaics? Great! This update has 6 of them... enjoy viewing! @Ace_F15: Hmmm, bogs down? I've tried it out in IE and Firefox... the mosaics look just fine. What brower are you using? Anyway, thanks for commenting! @UnkleS27: Thank you so much! Hope to see you around! Thanks everyone for your support! Hope you've enjoyed this update!

@GaBoR: Thank you so much for your compliment! Well, I've actually posted a Make-You-Own-Mosaic tutorial in my CJ, and here is the link to it. @jacqulina: Thanks for all your comments! You've gave me plenty of motivation to keep this CJ going... @Fabiocb: Thank you! The idea of constructing the church actually comes from the hilltop playground nearby... but the result of building trail parks on it is not very nice, so instead I just search through the rewards chain to check whether there are other suitable stuff to plop and I found a small cute church! @wouanagaine: Thanks a lot for taking your time to comment! I know that you've been pretty busy with the 3D landscaping programme... thanks and all the best with the programme!

Hi all! Welcome to Botania's 31st update! In this update, I'll be taking you on a tour on the city itself with 2 mosaics taken at 2 different zoom levels (at at zoom level 4 and the other at zoom level 5!) Enjoy viewing! The FIRST Mosaic! The SECOND Mosaic! The reply section: @jacqulina: Thank you jacqulina! Thanks for taking out some time to comment and also for the sweet compliment! @Sisu: Hi there! Thanks a lot for dropping by! It is great to see you here! @MayorTim: Thanks for commenting! Hope to see you around!

@magpieshooter: Thanks for your compliment! See you around! @GMT: Hey, don't feel sorry about not commenting, ok? As long as you've enjoyed reading, I'm happy! Thanks for taking some time and effort to comment! @jglei701: Actually Rivervalley was built quite a long ago, not mistaken, it is the 7th completed city in my region (while Kinuea Plain is the 20+th I think). I got the inspiration to build a suburb trail park system from the suburb where by aunt lives in. She lives in a gated community with trail parks all around the place! Thanks for commenting! @ThomasAH: I'm glad to help! Thanks for your compliment! @Yoman3: Thank you so much for commenting! You can see lots of high rises at Sunway City (click here)... now I'm moving on to a more rural part of the region

Hi all! A warm welcome to Botania's 30th update! In this update, the featued city is called Kinuea Plain, located at the top left of the map. I will upload the latest region shot in the next update to inform you all about the location of this city Hope you've enjoyed reading this update!

Hi all! Thanks for all your comment and support! Well, I've yet to receive any violent objection or construction comments about the changes to this CJ - pictures are of larger sizes that takes longer to load. Do they pose any problem to you? Please reply and drop your comments @ThomasAH: Not to worry about missing updates, ThomasAH! Do need to feel sorry about that Thanks for your sweet comment and here are some statistics of the region you've requested: Residential population: 1,424,958 Commercial population: 613,820 Industrial population: 171,281 Residents : Job ratio: 1 : 1.8149787 (normal ratio is 1 : 2) @Fabiocb: Dont' worry too much, Fabio! Sometimes RLS can be really frustrating, time-consuming... take some time off SC4 and simtrop to iron out the real life wrinkles, and then you can be back here again! Wishing you all the best! Anyway, thanks a lot for commenting! @magpieshooter: Hmm, I assume "the link" you mentioned refers to the semi-underground railway structures. Well, actually it was vester_DK that helped me get the link of the download page... so credits should go to him instead Thanks for dropping by,MP! @wouanagaine: Oh, I'm sorry! I will make modifications to the riversides of the city next time... maybe I should follow that you did - plant trees they will surely beautify the shorelines! Thanks for the constructive comment, and so don't feel too bad about offending me and haha, no need to give them smaller font sizes Thanks everyone for your continuous support! It is all your support that motivated me to improve this CJ and make it a better place!

Subedei, before I give you the URL, here are some instructions to download the file... 1. Wouanagaine, sorry to disappoint you about the beach mod thing. Actually it is not a beach mod, but rather beach side forest lots where I can plop them along the water... hmm, so what do you suggest? Anyway, thanks a lot for dropping by and your compliment! You're always the supporter of my CJ... I'm so touched! P.S. Wouanagaine, for the path finding thing eh... hmm the highway seems to handle almost all the traffic while the two birdges on the side get little traffic.. actually I once wanted to remove them but I think they look quite nice together, so I left them as eye candy!

Sorry for this long gap in not updating this CJ! Life has been pretty busy since I declared Botania is active again... teachers start to give us lots of assignments and project work after that! Ooh geezz... Okay, I shall stip whining here Well, in this update we'll be looking at another city filled with suburbs... called Ladriona. It is part of the Botania massive suburb expansion... taking shape bit by bit. Hope I can fill the top left of the map (about 10 medium sized cities) with suburbs very soon! Here is the latest region picture: Click here to view larger image. Click here to view larer image. Now let's move on to Ladriona! Yay! The Ladriona Interchange. This is another custom interchange I've made myself. Well, I'm not willing to let my Botania Freeway run into traffic lights, so I've actually created a trumpet for it first, where the end of the trumpet extends across the river to the island. But after that, there is aneed to addon to the trumpet because another branch of road is needed to connect to the border (located on the far left not in the picture). So I've added on to the existing trumpet interchange, and, tada, you'll get this super complicated interchange... So now let's move on to the suburbs... These are the Ladriona Towers. The residents at the top floor can actually see the Botania City Centre from their bedrooms! So although it is a low wealth high rise, the top few floors can actually fetch quite a high price. Now let's look at some close-ups of the city, taken at zoom level 5... lot more details revealed to feed your curiousity! After presenting you so many screenshots of the city and the suburb, I would like to share with you some shots of the train stations I've downloade off the STEX and a Japanese BAT site. That's all for this update. Hope you've enjoyed reading! @GMT: Hey dude, thanks a lot for dropping by! Thanks a lot for your comment, and hope to see you around!

Sorry if this sounds rude, but I search through this thread and can't find the link to the HSRP station. can anyone kindly provide me the link? Thanks a lot!

@magpieshooter: Thanks for your comment! Well, I actually got this idea from a National Geographic magazine about logging mills nested deep inside the amazon forest @Yoman3: Thanks for your compliment! @SpecialEddie: Hey Eddie, I am glad to hear that you're making your own tropical city! Will it be featured in the Simtrop CJ section? Well, I really hope that you can make your own CJ because you can not only know more people but also get lots of constructive comments! @sephaistos: Hey dude, thanks a lot for commenting! @UnlkeS27: Oh, the little islands are just the result from using the mayor mod terrain tool... you level the ground so that it is slightly below water level, and then use the raise terrain tool and drag it across, you'll get small little narrow cute islands! @Cjah: Thanks for dropping cy Cjah! Hope you've enjoyed reading this CJ... whoops, looks like I dont' get you... but log mine?you mine saw mill..... quote> The next update will be posted very soon! Stay tuned!

Choco, you've outdone yourself in this CJ! The newspaper cuttings are interesting and informative. Your photoshop skills are simply awesome! Keep up the good work!

@sloppet: Sorry sloppet but I really don't get what you're trying to say: Just when you thought it was safe... *sloppet came and this is the message he left here* Author: Sloppet Great work there t. That's a really great mosaic!quote>quote> @jacqulina: Thanks for dropping by! @wouanagaine: Hey dude, thanks for commenting! Well, I got this idea from the movie Wolf Creek where this 3 backpackers went to visit this crater... ok, forget about the gory part in the later part of the movie (yucks)... and one day I stumbled upon the Slaytfork Mill by onlyplace 4 on STEX. You can get it here. If not mistaken it is self powered, so you can built it anywhere deep in the woods or in the mountians. @spikeydarren: Thanks a lot for your compliment! Actually CJ is not onbly about effort, but also about creativity and how you present your city to all the Simtrops people @ThomasAH: Hey, thanks for your comment! I'm glad that you will choose that place to relax and unwind @bat: Thanks for dropping by, bat! @simfreak9: Haha, that's what I've learnt from shadow_assassin Thanks for commenting anyway!

@wouanagaine: Thanks for commenting! Thanks! @shadow_assassin: Oh dear, I am such a forgetful person! I introduced Crater City to you all and yet I forget to feature the main city's attraction, the crater itself! Bah~ ok, I promise that the crater will be featured in the next update
