  1. Burj Dubai

Wow, simply incredible, this building is a beauty, glad to see someone took the time to make it. My only problem with it is no jobs, which is why i'm giving it a 9, but otherwise its great!
  2. Show us your Downtown!

Here are my downtown views using a Vancouver, BC map I got off of this site. The last pick is obviously from a region standpoint to give you an idea of what the big picture looks like so far.
  3. 120,000 already!

Whooooot 120,000 (I remember when I joined it was something like 35,000-lol) as you can see I don't post much, just read the interesting CJ's and download the cool buildings people make
  4. New Worlds TALLEST tower Proposed!!

What a discusting design, there's no way that can be economical! The Burj Dubai tower is unbelieveable though, what a beauty
  5. City of EDMONTON

That was an awesome football game (too bad BC wasn't in it ) anyway, keep up the great work on the CJ!
  6. I'm in Kelowna B.C. right now and gas just dropped to $.999/liter!!! I never thought I'd see it drop below $1 again!!! its still rediculously high though.
  7. Urland, a (mostly) rural coastline

Great region!!!! your patients to build all of that detailed farm land is amazing. I was wondering if we could see some region shots though.
  8. City of EDMONTON

sorry to burst your bubble louisville327, but the Avalanch are going to be 4th in the Northwest division this year, behind Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary!-in that order. Go 'nucks now on a more serious point-your CJ is amazing, I don't think it would be possible to make it anymore realistic in the current version of SimCity-nice work.
  9. BREAKING NEWS: Will Wright announces NEW game!!!!

I'm not to interested in the evolution part of the game, I was kind of hoping for more of a Sim Empire game, where you can build the capital city of your 'empire' for all of the simcity fanatics, but where you can create armies to conquer other empires for all of the Civilization fanatics, and where you can expand to other planets. this game just adds a whole new aspect-you don't have to be human! this is eaither going to be really good or it could completely bomb. just gonna have to wait and find out.
  10. The Land

Do you have a region shot? looks pretty good so far btw
  11. obsolete Diagonal and straight elrail station

this is perfect, after I have been angry everytime I build a new elevated rail because of no way to build a diagonal station, thanks a bunch ps-it looks good to!
  12. City of EDMONTON

wow, this journal is amazing I must say though your desk area is just a little bit to clean, kinda creaps me out
  13. Hexys Glass Tower With Jobs

This should stand out in one of my cities quite nicly
  14. City of EDMONTON

Very nice city journal, can't wait to see it when you have most of the area's built up, It looks great keep it up!!!
  15. NDEX RailtoSubway Transition

perfect, it kinda ticked me off that the bums at EA games didn't do this for when the game came out, nice work :)
  16. Victoria BC

I was wondering when someone was gonna do a Victoria area map, nice work! now if someone would only do the Okanagan Valley (mainly the area around okanagan lake) in British Columbia, so I could re-create the area I live in (Penticton), hint, hint, cough, cough
  17. Realism Project / Mod Development

I don't have enought time, and I don't know a thing about modding but Vancouver BC, would be a really neat city to recreate, it has almost no outside commuters and if you do the whole fraserValley area its about 100km long and 45km wide(at the widest part), Vancouver it self has plenty of water around it, and lots of ferries, also the skytrain, and plenty of rail, and busses, no subway though (similar to alot of the cities on the west coast, ex. portland, LA, SF, Seattle, none of these have subways because of the earthquake risk) and the area of land I am talking about only has like 2.5million people so its not that big, also if you live in the Chilliwack area of the Fraser Valley you wouldn't be caught dead travelling all the way to the Vancouver area(would take about 1 hour commute time minimum in real life) Vancouver is also Canadas bussiest port, so their is plenty of industry and seaports to construct, and the landscape around Vancouver is breathtaking. their is also a to scale map on the exchange (it only extends out to Langley) so if you want to find a map that goes all the way out to Hope your gonna have to look on the internet or you might try contacting the guy that made the Greater Vancouver map. btw, I used to live in Vancouver, so I am a little bit biased, portland would also be another cool city to recreate, but the other cities don't sound as interesting (never been any farther east then Utah in the states, so I don't know much about any cities on the east coast) however if you tried to recreate boston you could recreate the Boston tea party-that would be kind of neat!
  18. Garbage Launch Pad

kind of unrealistic but I don't care, finally a solution to the garbage problem
  19. Fm Beaches For Irregular Coasts

Just what I have been looking for, looks great in my waterfront cities!!!
  20. Commerzbank

Don't work for me, and only one file to place into the plugins folder, am I missing something?
  21. StMarys Stadium

Beauty, always looking to add some different stadiums to my region
  22. Hancock Tower Boston MA

Great building, love the way it looks in my downtown
  23. Greater Vancouver Regional District

for some reason I can't get your map to work, so i have to use the Vancouver lowermainland pro map and just make it bigger my self (your map isn't the only one btw), looks good from what I can see in the pic. just wish I could get it to load
  24. Digby - East Coast Region

Excellent Region, don't think I could build anything that could surpass its realism, but as someone mentioned before, what kind of power are you using? Natural gas I'm assuming as the others are eaither too expensive or they pollute to much, for such a nice region.
  25. Portland Oregon Metro Area

to many large maps (My Comp. doesn't handle them to well) But an excellent map
