Bout time we had an official Simtropolis rap battle. The rules are simple. One brave soul starts out by dropping a few lines and then you can respond with a little verse of your own. Please bold any actual raps you are posting so that we can tell comments and raps apart. The winner is declared when they have successfully caused everybody else to give up because their lyrics were so good. For those of you who don't know, a rap battle is basically when two or more people rap back and forth, taking jabs at eachother, responding to the others jabs, and throwing in a ton of ego-inflation. For those of you with your head literally stuck in sand, rap is basically like poetry only less cultural haha. Now, as we all know, rap can get pretty vulgar and offensive, but obviously, keep out all the dirty language and sexual material...think about it, it takes a true genius to be able to write a good rap without swears! We are also going to assume that all the insults are going to be in a playful facetious manner, in the spirit of rap battles, and that none of it is actually sincere or should be interpreted as serious. So for example, if I say to Glenni "Hows the weather in Norway, you wouldn't know, your too busy batting trash to check for snow" [give me a break, i had to come up with Something...] we can all assume that I am just joking and I don't actually believe glenni's bats are trash? Comprende? Somebody get this going...its always a good idea to start by going after MC Kryptowhite

Grumpy Pitbull, this aint free verse, whats wrong? Can't rap when you can't curse? Your lyrics need to rhyme,those read like a book, your jabs are weak wheres your left hook? I'll tell you how I learned to rhyme, its a dandy little tale, maybe after you hear it, your raps won't be so stale. check it. Back on the west side of harlem life was such a pain, couldn't go to the store, widdout gettin popped in the brain, music was our savior, we rapped to pass time, we learned to rap battle, and we learned to rhyme, i suggest you do the same, cause your facing a king, a king who knows, the weather lies when they say no snow, cause its 9:30 am and the white stuffs still fallin, it gives me hope, to one day get outta harlem. Is it a shot at bulldog, or my lifes story about a rough upbringing in harlem? Nobody knows. Its always smart to place yourself in a rough neighborhood it gives your raps more credibility.

That sums it up perfectly. The only givens in this season are the Colts and Saints winning, the Bucs and Lions losing...the rest of the league is such a mixed bag that you can't really get a read on any of the teams. I guess the cowboys being tough to read is a given too, they are like that every year, but the pats, the titans, dolphins, steelers, bengals, jaguars...the list of teams playing completely different than you would have expected is stunning. Broncos, falcons..it goes on and on...

Great photoshopping, but i would use less open space in the downtown, or make it a bit more crowded with flora and whatnot, not just plain tiles.

Easy Bakes, having a little difficulty discerning between the BSC and the BCS? haha. Hint, ones a bat team I agree, i wish TCU was playing like Ohio State so they could embarass the Big Ten. It should be TCU vs. Texas, Cincinnati versus Boise, winners face eachother, the winners of those games face Alabama in the national championship. its only fair for 5 undefeateds. Cinci Florida should be a good game. Georgia Tech will run all over Iowa, Oregon will do the same to OSU. Boise TCU should be exciting,i'd take Boise for experience though, although i like TCU better. And the title game is a great matchup, i hope Texas takes it though.

^ -5 Credibility. The NFC north is home to three playoff contenders, including the second best team in the NFC and the third best team in the league, the vikings, as well as a all but garunteed playoff team in the packers, who would be leading the NFC east, west, and AFC east if they played there. Overall, the NFC north has more combined wins than all but 2 or 3 divisions, and keep in mind that includes the lowly lions. So that statement is incredibly false. And I'd say a win over the cowboys is definetely a credible win over a big time.

PGVB- 64 bit op systems render a hell of a lot faster than 32 bits so its no wonder rendering isn't in issue for that Looking forward to upgrading to 64 bit so i can use all the 6 GB of RAM on my PC and render my Hancock Tower.

Gaaah...I hate the NFL right now..between the patriots and the colts and the rest of the league...my picking has hit rock bottom this week haha. And so far i've lost 10 dollars cause the titans couldn't cover the spread thanks to three scoreless red zone trips and the vikings laying over and getting stomped on last night. But if Green Bay wins by more than a field goal, I can break even for the weekend and all will be better. Even though i read the Baltimore pass defense has gotten much better [plus the presence of ed reed] it really comes down to Ryan Grant+Donald Driver+Rodgers versus Mason, Flacco, and Rice for the Ravens, I prefer the Packers right there.

At one point i was in first place by a few games...o how the mighty have fallen...my seasons spiraling out of control with the patriots season haha! In fact, all three of us are having seasons analogous to our teams. I started out fast and looked really good the first 5-6 weeks but have been falling apart slowly since, Blade and Shady hid in the bushes for a bit and has really come on strong the last few weeks just like the Packers and Cowboys

Actually Blade, Shady is 6-3. He didn't make a pick on the pats dolphins game [smart man lol] and the only other games he got wrong were Houston, Tampa Bay, and Pittsburg.

Both Pittsburg and New England are in rebuilding phases right now, but obviously a rebuilding year for the patriots/steelers looks a bit different than one for say..jacksonville. Also the NFL is going to be a mess next year with no salary cap, no shared revenue..it might not even be fun to watch....

Hands down, the worst pats team since 2000. Its amazing to think that we are still winning the division at 7-5. Tom Brady has about 12 picks this year, they can't play defense, they can't win in the fourth quarter, they can't protect leads, they can't win on the road, in the division, or against good teams. Sam Aiken dropped two deep passes that would have sealed the game, although one was a dive so i'll give him a pass. Brady threw a pick on the last play offensively that was so bad i nearly threw up. Safe to say, this Patriots team will either miss the playoffs, or be out after one round.

PBGV-Great nightlights. I would go with medium quality to be honest, it gets you good rendering quality in good rendering time. For the window textures i might do a bit more variation and maybe add a tint of blue [only if you think it is called for, but a really slight tint of blue] and for the actual building material its just too bright so give it a bit more grey and make it look less clean [use a gradient or the burn tool to do this]

I was hoping that TCU could get into the national championship game. They certainly deserve it more than Alabama or Texas, seeing as those teams can just go out every year, take 5-10 blue chippers/five star prospects, and have a garunteed good season. teams like TCU need to take 2/3 star prospects and turn them into 5 star players. Thats why i love watching BC, because they are perhaps the worst recruiting BCS school in the country, but they always get the right players for their system, and they turn 2 star players into All-ACC players [see: Ryan, Matt, or Keuchly, Luke].

Yea i don't really care, i was almost late myself because the site took a minute to post my picks. Well, I was right that an undefeated would struggle, i just picked the wrong one. Indy rolling right now but New Orleans struggling against Washington! I'm amazed how Indy continues to win, they've looked mediocre in over half there games. Of course, its better than looking great one day and awful the next, like the patriots have. Patriots themselves are looking like they will win, but not impressive considering the oponent. But thats just kind of the team they've become, I definetely think they are in a rebuilding mode not only long term but also short term, they really need to reload and get some momentum for the playoffs this month. Tom has started great as has Maroney/Morris, i really like where the run game is headed. The 2007 Patriots were perhaps the breaking-out party of the Inflated Passing Statistics Era [the last 5-6 years], maybe they will be at the front of the return of the run game, Our offense right now is three plays...Maroney off tackle, Welker screen, Moss deep pass. Other thoughts: Tampa looking to be a good pick by me, trailing 10-6 at the half but 6 unanswered. Tennessee a horrible pick by me AGAIN against Indy. My hate for Indy has singlehandidly killed my picking season, otherwise i would be in first place right now. Houston/Jacksonville, two of the most difficult teams to read, showing why, Jacksonville up 20-7.
