just thought i would share this with the folk at simtrop a great clip showcasing some of the best time-lapse footage going.. the guy has a talent of making huge cities look like miniatures..and well they look like sc4 cities.. honest to god.. its quite amazing music is spot on too.. take a look, it could inspire your next city.. they do for me City scape time-lapse photography

Well i was not sure this was the exact thread to show this.. but i found this neat web app that lets you make google style maps.. its a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it its pretty neat.. anyways heres a link to view a quick map i made Scribblemap test I will try explain what to do.. when you "make" a map it gives you real world geographical data that you can customise etc.. you can choose from google, ms, yahoo.. but the best one is "scribble" this gives you a blank canvas.. import a screenshot.. or many region tiles..(not tried this yet) and bingo.. theres is your base map.. just like a google sat map.. add all your routes.. POI's etc and save. you can link it like i just did.. or widget it to a blog or website.. could be useful for Cj's me thinks

Well i found an alt power source.. a Nexis diesel genny.. looks perfect Silo's and barns etc are all part of the SPAM and rural sets and add-ons they are a must for farmers

Yeah.. im a SPAMaholic never did get why Maxis made the windmills a 2x1 tile... i agree they do look a little odd, i think i'll look for an alternative energy source.. hmm maybe that could be my first lot idea.. thanks

Ahh the smell of the countryside... cant beat it.. as a country boy now living in the big smoke, recreating the charm of rural life in simcity is about as close as i can get... Here is an area i call Stone, its a new town i started about 5 hours ago as part of my first ever journal.. coming later.. much later ( soon as i can ween myself of my mod addiction and actually play Anyways.. here is tha major part of Stone. Two small villages to the east. Stone's largest of the private farms, The "Bread n Bitty" grain and dairy farm. And ermm... whats this.. One bull.. Many cows.. Hello ladies Well thats all folks... Oh and.. git of my land!
