herenthere, I know I'm missing some interesting sections, but this one's for those Manhattan-centric New Yorkers. On Rebel 13's Sim City site, there's one of the entire NYC region, including Staten Island, plus quite a bit of NJ, but it's scaled too small. I think this one here is scaled exactly right. I measured geographic features, and using the large city as being 4 km x 4 km, they come out the same.

This is based on the map of the7trumpets from Rebel 13's SimCity site. However, it's rotated so instead of North being up, the grid is aligned to New York's grid plan. Also, the config file is set up to define large regions across the island, optimally located for placement of the regions bridges. The preview shown is not the SimCity rendered image, but an overlay showing the different city squares over the region. -
Great, thanks!

I searched and didn't find an answer for this, but yell at me if I missed something. I've installed the NAM A, on easy, which should increase the capacity of the mass transit systems, right? Now when I query the stations, it still has the same old 2000 for subway, etc, that Maxis programmed. Should that number change, or is it just the hidden mechanics that change?

After reading the CLXL's website, I'm impressed. One idea for building things like transit systems is having "plan" and "commit" phases. This would add to realism since subways and highways can't be built instantaneously, it would help get estimates for cost, and would eliminate the need for an undo button and save us all from the "oops I didn't mean to bulldoze my power plant" syndrome.
