Banana Bay has become rather space-limited, and I want a more nationalistic CJ, so I can join the SCJU. Amazing! I love how you put many of the hotels with views of the beach, a lot of CJs don't do that, and it really adds to the realism when you do.

Wow, you have worked hard on this and your skills are really getting good! Are you using a mod for those white beaches in the earlier posts?

I just noticed this discussion and had to comment. How could anyone believe that an aquired trait could be passed along to another generation!?! If you have two rats, and you cut off their tails, does that mean that their offspring won't have a tails? NO! It takes more faith to believe in the chances of evolution than to simply believe there is one almighty God who created everything!

I think Dubai is just plain awsome! Sure it has it's imperfections, such as being in the Middle-East, and having an average temp. of over 100 degrees. But I think the city is a shining example of what capitalism and hi-tech engineering can do (they basically no taxes). To those who say that the amazing projects won't ever be built: Look at what they've already done with the Palm Jumeirah! I love Dubai and the modern architecture. I wish there were more cities in the world like it. Very nice, and great mozaic! The roundaouts are very realistic; they remind me of many in the Caribbean.

Let's start off with a major development I've just completed north of the Shopping district... Well, what do you think? Endless Sands, as the projct has been called, is all about beachfrontage. Each condo backs up to a wide, man-made strip of beach, which leads to the bigger beach on the gulf. This is only an expirement by Russo Corp., but other communities may soon be developed using the same style. Moving on, here is a look at the latest developments on Viscaya... This is the Viscaya Marina. Even though it is only used for small recreation boats, two gorgeous exclusive condos have been built there. The Marina Centere features shops and restaurants on the bottom and condos on the top, while Marina Grande features the most luxurious accomodations in Banana Bay. Both condos feature full bay (marina side) and gulf (beach side) views. Well, let's finish with some pictures of the ever-expanding shopping district... Thanks for visiting!

I have always thought that we need a modd that greatly increaces waterfront desirability. I mean, here in south Florida, anything that could even be concidered waterfront is instantly close to a million dollars. I'm tired of seeing CJs with all the highrises so far from the sea. In real life, everyone wants a view, especially those with deep pockets.

As usual, huge progress is being made in the development of Banana Bay. Let's start with the almost complete shopping disrict... The center of the shopping district is the state-of-the-art Mall Coco. This sylish mall sits on a prime location on a busy corner in downtown Banana Bay. It features chic, modern architecture, and some of the most exclusive retail stores in the SimNation. Next to the mall is a beautiful piece of eye candy known as Banana Park. Beyond that is downtown. There are currently lots of constructions sites throughout the downtown. Here is one of the planned skyscrapers that will hopefully be completed soon... Speaking of planned developments, here is a major construction site on Viscaya... To help quench the demand for hotels and condos, Russo Development Corp. is planning to build, on this site, two mega-complexes, each made up of two towers. I am in my mid-teens, and I am native to beautiful Sarasota, Florida, where I currently live. I really enjoy playing tennis and the going to the beach, as Sarasota's beach one of the best in America. I have already started a CJ, so please stop by and comment.

OMG! I just read your entire CJ for the first time, and is that the Burj Al Arab in the very first picture?!? Is it on the STEX?!!? It is my favorite building in the world, and I have been looking for it to put in my city, but I can't find it anywhere! Where did you get it? Oh, and good job. I really like tropical CJs; they always give me ideas.

We have been making tremendous and rapid progress in the development of Banana Bay. First, here is an ariel shot of the city area... You might first notice the island of Viscaya. This man-made island used to be a cluster of small islands. We have just finished connecting them into a large strip of land that will allow hotels and condos to have a full view of the gulf beaches on one side, and the bay on the other! The next major development we have made is the downtown point along the Banana Bayfront. Right now this man-made point is occupied by small shops. But soon it will be dominated by the towering Banana Bay financial district. The last major development we've made is simply known as The Bay Club. This is the only major low-density area in Banana Bay. The Bay Club has been designed so every homesite has a picture perfect view of a golfing green. Only the very wealthiest residents / tourists will be able to live in or rent a mansion here. Model homes are now open. Come have a look anytime!" [just kidding]

Sounds great! I'm especially with you on the bus issue. So far, I can't think of any other problems. If you know how to make a modd, I say go for it!
