  1. Calm Down Folks Read this :)

If you read the tech articles for SC4 on the official website, it says that the game was to be in 3d with free camera but they decided to give us 4 fixed views so that they could keep a high level of detail.
  2. Number 1 thing for me: Instead of being forced to develop numerous tiles to make one metropolis, I would like the ability to either start on a larger tile or be able to annex land to expand the city as much as I wish (provided that the computer can handle it) Also, I want first-person UDI. Airports and seaports should also become zones again, but instead of being a pile of random buildings like in SC3K, the zones should grow realistically. Also, I want my airports to provide regional service instead of being limited to one measly tile.
  3. Money help

When I have a large section of dirty industry in my city, I'll hike taxes all the way to max. The buildings never abandon and are essentially free money.
  4. UDI in SC4 and SCS

UDI in SCS would be great, if only it were an actual city simulator with something to drive on besides the stupid square 4lane road grid
  5. I've noticed that dense zones tend to develop more slowly than others. Also, unless there is some enormous city that you're hiding out of that screen, don't even think about getting skyscrapers in that zone.
  6. For some reason, I cannot get the 4lane RHW to build (I don't mean 4 lanes on one side)no matter what i do with the tool. When I drag the two parallel networks, all I get is two seperate 2 lane highways (look the same as default ANT)
  7. Skyscrapers?

I have been having this same problem in one of my cities. The pop. is pushing 400k, and while I can easily acquire residential towers, commerce only builds malls and mid-sized office buildings (despite the 150k commercial jobs in the city)

I need good urban highways to use in my city center as well, and the originals' "concrete slab" look fits perfectly. The major cities are the focal points of my regions, and I want them to look as good as possible.
