  1. SimCity 2000 style Microwave Power Plant

very cool, not sure i'll use it, but i'm glad it was made. :)
  2. San Diego v1.0

the biggest thing coronado gets traffic from is military traffic inbound, as far as i've noticed. (i haven't driven the bridge at rush hour in a while) i've never actually seen a slowdown on it. the big traffic problems in SD aren't really on your map, with the exceptions of the 163/5 connection and 805 south of the 94. (5/805, and 163/15 are the two worst crunches usually, but they're both cut or almost cut on your map.) as far as people that work downtown there's a lot of $$$ residential getting built right now, two projects i know of, plus emerald towers, a bunch in the east village near petco have been approved. i think it's 3200 units in the next 2 years are opening up there, and most are $500,000+ for a condo. downtown san diego, according to an article a few weeks ago in the Union-Tribune, has a little problem where there isn't much office demand in highrises, most businesses see it as a waste of money compared to an office in kearny villa, miramar, or mission valley. people want to live in the nicer areas though, so outside of hotels, most of the downtown highrises here are mostly residential. the biggest traffic crunch i see into downtown is usually weekend nights, since downtown is more nightclubs and hotels than office towers. san diego's a tourism-based city. please, visit with cash. dave (my last essay in your thread, i promise!)
  3. San Diego v1.0

the bridge looks better than anything i've been able to do with this terrain - unfortunately a road isn't going to have the capacity of the real bridge, so i hope there's a lot of jobs from the air base looking good with things filling in. dave
  4. satilite station with satilite tower

More info about the lot would be helpful. It says growable, but you listed costs, and the lot and building are very plain.
  5. San Diego v1.0

i just was playing around with your san diego region, and rebuilt the CA-52/CA-125/mission gorge interchange as close to right as i could in SC4. here's a screenshot. you might want to do it that way, since the 125 basically ends into mission gorge ave, but does have freeway-grade ramps in between. and there's no ramp on prospect this way. i know the maps are confusing with that part, i hope that helps. dave
  6. Nesco Hallifax and Waterhouse Insurance

i'll be happy when i see these growing in my city - not extravagent, but it'll add variety and will fit in with the existing buildings well.
  7. GDV Yacht Club

i'll think of something to say later, i'm in shock by this.
  8. San Diego v1.0

the only things that look like they might need correcting would be Balboa Ave (the old CA 274) should definitely be an avenue, and it looks more like a road on the map. it has partial cloverleaf interchanges at Morena Blvd, I-15 and CA-163, and a full cloverleaf at the I-805 interchange. it was at one point planned to be upgraded to a full freeway, but CA-52 was built instead. the other correction might be near the 52/163 interchange, is Kearny Villa Road (the old US 395, replaced by I-15) isn't visable as it crosses the 163 up into miramar. even though i doubt it will effect gameplay, it's my usual route home from work. dave
  9. Car Park

not a new idea, but very nicely done.
  10. DuskTroopers Andover Tower

i like the style, should fit in my cities nicely.
  11. Buffalo City Court

i hate the real building, but you captured it beautifully. well, as beautifully as that pile can be BAT'd. i'd love to see more of buffalo.
  12. New Rowhouses

looking good, nice work. it'll add more variety to my city. do these only grow in the chicago tileset?
  13. Crystal Junction

  18. San Diego v1.0

that's looking just amazing. my favorite part of the city would have to be pacific beach/mission beach/mission bay, that'd have to be my vote for starting point. that or old town, since it was one of the first areas to grow up anyway. dave
  19. Sunken Plaza VC

looks good, kind of a vice city style. i can think of a few places i'll use this though.
  20. Santa Barbara CA

  24. Hirachis Realistic School Mod.

i can check it out more, i didn't save afterwards but the problem i had was with the hospital slider getting messed up too - my hospitals weren't covering anything, and my sim's health was going bad, which caused a mass exodus of $$ and $$$'s. while it's a great idea for a mod, if it clears out my cities i'll have to figure out if there's something else conflicting. there's about 600 various things i have as plugins, most are lots, but i suppose one of those could conflict. other than a few custom schools/hospitals, i can't think of what would, but i'll see if i can figure it out. it's a great idea, one way or another i'll make it work for me . dave
  25. Niagara Mohawk Building Buffalo NY
