It's hard to start a city at first but you'll soon get the hang of it. If you have the demand for it try zoning for some mid-high wealth commercial office and that should get the income you need from the tax. If you don't have the demand just keep making more R$, R$$ and R$$$ until you do (you should get about -
Aleking: Thats a nice city but I noticed that some of the buindling just don't flow togther that well. Cool rail network, I'll give a 8.5/10 The_sanderson: Good use of Maxis R$$$ towers. The only thing i'd like to see is more cars on the roads- kinda looks like a ghost town- 8.5/10 Cjah: I've never seen that before! 7.5/10 Capitol1: A little plain but not that bad- 7/10 SIMMANIA: That's very cool! I like the the canal and the trees on the side of the road- 9.5/10

Dever: Great job man! I really like that cruse ship- 9/10 The_sanderson: A little confusing to the eye but an alright pic -7/10 Capitol1: Some good skyscrapers although a little bland 7.5/10 Here's an addon of my last pic. Started work on the western side. I tried to base this loosely on the modern cities of Hong Kong and Shanghai.

I've had a large city with over 1 million people but my record for a small city is probably slightly less than this. It looks like this city may have a few problems though...
