    that's actually a pretty interesting location to have! i might have to try a region like that, it'll be quite interesting but then i'll have to make a CJ on simtropolia (or not, i have no idea at this point) if it's not too much trouble, though, i'd prefer to have at least a small part of the mainland, having solely island territory there worries me see: mississippi river delta after hurricane katrina

  4. @roy_mustang: I've actually started the initial stages of interchange development for the RHW. As far as complexity goes, I'm taking a very different approach than has been taken, a modular approach. Basically, instead of creating these giant interchanges that take forever to BAT and mod, the RHW Modular Interchange System (RHWMIS) will involve a series of ramp puzzle pieces designed specifically to suit a wide variety of interchange-building needs. In other words, one will actually be able to build custom interchanges without having to BAT or mod. It will be continually added to, expanding the customization possibilities. Unfortunately, due to RL, it will be delayed. I hope to have some sort of update within the next month on that front. quote> WOW, that's going to be complex for you to design while ensuring all pieces work together correctly if you ever need some help, dont be afraid to ask me in a week or so...     welcome to the region! look at one of simzebu's posts further up the page and look at our region map choose a location (your choice whether or not you base your location on actual time zone or not, i didnt completely)
  7. indeed, ending that many lanes would be disastrous, but then for new interchanges we need someone willing to BAT and mod them i mightbe able to mod an interchange but BATting one is a major undertaking because they're so complex but i'll be honest here, an interchange is the only feasible way to do this without massive congestion issues

    tarkus, haljackey: thank you both, i knew i had seen that tutorial somewhere, but had to search through the 30+ page long thread to find it and tarkus, And if you're all patient, there actually will be a new RHW with 5 lanes in each direction (10 lanes total) sometime in the near future.     gotta say, love the idea for SC5, but im 99% certain that EA would somehow tie it in with "The Sims". but because i dont want to seem like im shooting you down (which im not), i'll tell you that i'd love to be able to visit other people's cities (oh man, visiting Green Depra...)

    road top mass transit can be very useful and as far as i know, is compatible with the NAM the NoOneWayRoadArrows Mod is only cosmetic but gets rid of those annoying arrows the RHW (Rural Highway Mod) replaces the ANT network with a rural highway, great if you're after realism. road top MT and the NoArrows Mod are available on Simtropolis download the RHW here, and the discussion thread is here hope that helps ~roymustang
  18. personally, i would say GLR for single spaces/edges of inner-city. allows mass transit to use the same routes as cars and makes MT more appealing but railroads and trees may be a better choice for suburbs

    try uninstalling the road top MT without installing the files you've already removed, reinstalling it, then replacing and testing the effects of the files one at a time to find the conflict as far as i know, the two do not conflict (or at least, they never have for me) so i presume it must be something other than NAM, but correct me if i'm wrong ~roymustang
