Only one out of a hundred bothers to rate or comment ~ you peeps are getting lazy!
  2. Kings Reach Tower

    Very nice midriser!!! 10/10
  3. Moving into Stankonia

Looks good so far. Like the looping highway. The only things I see that need work are some steep and unrealistic slopes to your roads and the lack of space next to the ave. that runs along the cliff. Its tough to imagine a sidewalk next to a cliff without fencing, etc... To get things growing definately set-up an industrial area served by rail with a connection to a neighbor to export goods. Simply zone some high density industry next to the tracks and you should get some rail traffic right away. Have the other end of the rail line connect to a residential zone and then a commercial to really get things rolling. To get high tech industry add some parks or plazas around the area and make sure school grade is high and crime is low. Make sure everything is served by busses and you should see some nice results. Good luck and I look forward to seeing more!
  4. Marble Arch Tower

Nice midriser! Like the night lighting as well!
  5. Thames: British style CJ

Nice update. Glad you decided to demo the viaducts. When I first saw them I could not figure out what they were. I think the rail lines will look more realistic without them. Looking forward to seeing how things turn out.
  6. Welcome to Melanosia

Pretty chunky update! Like the sunken hwy and the oil refinery. Dig the rail line and industrial area with the canal as well. The rail approach to the green bridge could be more gently sloped though ~ thats a pretty steep grade and angle. Keep up the nice work. Looking forward to seeing more!

This Modified STEX lot is a higher capacity rail station and serves 6500. You will need the original HSBC Center building by sargeantcm to use this station. Like my previous rail lots the station is designed to blend in with Marrast's Embankment Set and PEG's CDK lots to create under bridge effects and a uniform look to your rail lines. Lot size is 10x7. *Thanks go to sareantcm for allowing me to upload this modified lot! I think you do great modeling work and have all your buildings so far! I do dress up your lots a bit in the LE and converted part of HSBC Center to be a commuter rail station. Looks and works great! I look foward to all your future buildings! Keep up the good work!

  19. Brick City

Nice brick work! Lived in various parts of Brooklyn including Red Hook for a bit. Your CJ definately brings me back! Excellent work so far!
  20. Victoria

Did you try pulling all your mod - plugins and reloading. Sometimes you can get things going again then add your mods one at a time to see if there is a conflict somewhere. Anyways you had a nice CJ going ~ look forward to the next!
  21. Wood County - Rebirth

What could be done ~ and its not all that difficult to make ~ is a single tile lot with an overhanging grass prop that would cover the dead end road. Another option would be a transit enabled grass lot which would take the place of the road. You could add a load of trees on it or other objects so you don't see the cars that may venture onto that section.
  22. Wood County - Rebirth

That's the point I am trying to make ~ the games limitations make the intersection you are trying to create unrealistic. The dead ends after the ramps and the diagonal puzzles connecting with the slope/ramp deviate from any attempt at realism. Hopefully the next NAM will address some of these issues.
  23. Parkriver

I dig your use of the water lots! Your terraforming is top notch as well. I'll say you deserve more of an A- than a B. The minus coming from a little bit of overuseing the stone embankments. Sometimes open grass tiles in these places can look very nice. Its easy to over do the embankments though and many do IMO. Can't wait to see more!
  24. The Brastoval Bay Area

but as to the deisrability one thing of note in the entire region every builing is specifically place.  not to say plopped but i do a lot of demolish, and wait then make historical when the right BAT comes up.  Personally i don't like the cities  with endless fields of the same high wealth lots. please stay tuned for results, seriously i have a cool idea Cool ~ glad you are going to try something different ~ looking forward to seeing the results! I construct my cities in the exact same way ~ demolish - make historical. I agree with you on too many $$$ high wealth and prefer $$ in most places. Good luck and I am glad I could be of some help. I like to make suggestions when I see things. I think its better than the standard looks great nice update etc...
  25. The Brastoval Bay Area

Great terracing and terraforming work! Your use of diagonals is probably the best I have seen. If you have the time I want you to try something ~ you might like the results! https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//beachv.JPG align=baseline> Instead of utilizing the dank concrete embankments on your slopes try laying down open grass tiles and planting various trees all along these areas. You can also make a simple grass lot with a street light on it in the LE to add some nice night lighting to your roads. You might be surprised how picturesque and realistic the results would be. If you don't like the look just don't save the game. The open grass will also bring up desirability. Hope you don't mind the suggestion and consider giving it a try.
