Here's the financial district (crowded blueish part in the center) of Amsterdam. It's one of the oldest parts of the city. Amsterdam New Downtown (more green, more spacious):

I've got a new massive one for you all! Made of a much nicer city and much bugger than the first one! Internet Explorer will render this one correctly, FireFox unfortunately not. Click here to vew the image (268MB!)

Because the demands are all messed up. They wouldn't be if I could build extra industrial areas in this city. Building them in neighboring cities isn't as effective and I would get cities that aren't cool and useful for anything but for cracking up the amount of industrial buildings/jobs. I do have other cities in the region, otherwise this one wouldn't grow so big The city is all non-cheat, non-plop and non-addon.

Thanks for your answer. That's too bad, then I'll have to start all over again...

Hi, I would like to know, if it is possible at all, how to resize a city lot without loosing the existing buildings etc. My city lot is quite full: Also, does anyone know what the biggest lot size of the original Maxis building is? Thanks in advance!

Some of the music can be heard in the SCS video.

Why would they want to let a popular game die out? There's no reason for doing that as long as it is generating money. No, EA just took a big misstep.

Am I the only person who thinks 2D may have been better?
Rubix replied to the olive's topic in City-Building Games
I'm not sure... The graphical quality could cease, like we see now with Societies. With good programmers and 3D artists it is well possible to make a nice looking 3D SimCity though. That may not run on any Pentium 4 anymore, but as I said, we're in 2007 already! With intelligent rendering techniques, you can really make beautiful 3D cities that will run smooth on a modern computer. @ Giorgos69: I see most of the custom content here being designed in 3D first and then rendered as 2D graphics. And look at the 3D GTA series, all custom cars etcetera are 3D, and some of them are designed really realistically. -

One comment: this is not going to work, take a look at Linux I advise you all not to waste your time and focus on making more of the beautiful custom content you all created for SC4.
