This is a re-release of my first building. I made some issues with the upload since it was my first BAT. It has the same stats as the previous file: CO$$ Ploppable and Growable Employs 54 Sims Sorry for the issue. I tried to just edit the previous file, but it kept giving me some "Internal Error" -

This is my second upload to the STEX. I'm making my builds a little bigger as I get more experience as a novice batter. This is 13 story commercial office building. I have given it solar panels so that it operates under it's own power. This is a project that I'm working on, to create a city where each building (including regular family homes) is basically self sufficent as it pertains to power. Heads up go to Glenni as I utilized some of his "Roof Junk" and learned to "merge" for this BAT. I hope you are able to find a use for it. Some of the stats are as follows: Employs 350 Sims Power use 0 Water use 5 Ploppable and Growable (ploppable as a Landmark) No Dependencies-as all of my BAT's will be I accept advice well, so please feel free to leave a comment. -

Wow...this is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for...I appreciate all the help. I will keep you abreast on how things go...and one day I may try to put together a CJ to show what your advice helpped me to create. Thanks Mike

As I sit in front of the screen, watching a city develop, I wonder where I should go next. What should I build next. A city of 50,000 Sims is a typical frustration point for me. I have the tendency to step back, look at my city in disgust and say, "That looks nothing like what I expected, or wanted", and then I destroy it and start over. At this pace I will never get those big beautiful cities that you guys build. I think I'm expecting too much of myself. I've even gone so far as to draw out a diagram of a city on paper before I develop it. I'm thinking I should try a different approach. Maybe I would be better satisfied with several smaller cities through a region, than one big city. Maybe they would grow more toward my suitability if I didn't get so impatient with myself. Has anyone else had this sort of struggle? Are these typical of someone still learning the game? Thanks for all your input.

You can still upgrade your RAM, go out and buy yourself a couple of 512mb memory chips...should cost you about $150.00 (American money), which is cheaper than a whole new rig. I think if anything is hurting you it is that processor though. Just my opinion.
