Oh, nice. Very European upper class. Looks like some small Italian city the tourists are yet to discover. 9.5/10 One question.... why are most the people on the pavement disabled? lol Waz_up_tiger- Sure, i'll do that.

I ain't posted on this page yet, so here I got. First of all, rates- Masterplanman (1st)- Wonderful industrial feel, looks strangley futuristic. 9/10 Ilikehotdogsalot- Iv'e seen this one before I think. Wonderful city, but the smoggy photoshopping doesn't do it for me. 7/10 ACEfanatic- If it was me, I would have spent hours trying to put the ships reflections in the water... good to see you took the easy way out, because there is no point really, its a waste of time and effort. Anywho, nice port, good use of ships, makes it looks slightly busy even for a night shot. Could have maaaybe made it lighter and added more ships along the edge of the port, but meh... 8.5/10 Masterplanman (2nd)- Nice railyard, can't really see anything wrong with the pic apart from the boring Maxis sidewalk textures. 9/10 LP- Amazing stuff, everything fits in well and the GLR doesn't looks out of place. Love the low wealth BATS, i'm sure i have them but they never build in my cities. 9/10 Masterplanman (3rd)- Awesome drydocks, looks very fifties... apart from the lighting... whats up with those? There all blue and pink o.0... funky. 9.5/10 Waz_up_tiger- Nice shot, i've always wondered where to put that Borialis needle. Dunno about the golden trees though, if I want seasonal its either red. brown or orange. 8/10 LP- Ah, encouraging the dirty Industry, eh? You make me proud, heheh. Minus a point for the empty highway... I have the same problem unfortunatley and I can never get the traffic generating lots to work. And yeah, go ahead and make a CJ, i'm sure it'll be awesome. 8.5/10 Jeez... nice pics all round on this page. I've been working on CJ pics, damn, I never knew this would be so damn hard. Anywho, heres my pic for today... the world is my concrete container (those who work for Greenpeace, look away now)- Sorry to those who don't like photoshopping... unfortunatley for you, I love it

I can't really speak for Cities, but a town near me has really bad planning. For one, all the kerbs at the side of the roads are at least 4 foot high and you can't drive Trucks through the town because the roads are too narrow.

Anywho, rates- Chihilidog- Nice pic, plenty of nice BATS in there. Whats the conical building that it cut off by the top of the pic? (well, it looks conical). At the moment im looking for as many forboding and depressing buildings as I can find. 7/10 anyway... minus a point a point for the yellow pause border and the tool-bar. Capitol1- Good pic, a nice mix of buildings. Avenue is abit empty though and theres and undeveloped res zone at the bottom. 7.5/10 Aaronperry- Have I seen that one before or am I going crazy? Its a good pic anyway but as jj88 said, too much repitition with the Gas tanks, plus, the trees you are using are HUGE... some sneaky git storing radioactive waste underground? Saw this on the news and I couldn't belive it! As soon as they drop into my price range i'm getting one, Its a whole new instrument for talentless eejits like me!

I lurked for about a month before joining, I saw all the crazy amazing stuff on the STEX and tried my hardest to join. No matter how many registartions I sent nobody would send me anything back. As a last resort I bribed (Donated acctually) whoever replys to the registrations £10 to let me in and I got a swift reply, hehe. Even after getting in, i was too busy downloading stuff to comment on the forums, I only started talking on these forums about 2-3 months ago

No problem LP, i love GLR as well... such a greater alternative to rail... or any other type of mass transit. Anywho... rates- Yoman- I read the background to that image and its nice that your honest about the city and the traffic generators. Plus, you made me download those fantastic fence/grass filler lots by Jeronij and I can't stop using them... hehe, so handy. 9/10 LP- Nice, yet, slightly empty. You could have at least got rid of those 6 bits of road you used for terraforming Still, very nice pic, love the autumnal feel, reminds me of the large park in a place I live near. 7.5/10 Waz_Up_Tiger- Ah, I love those SOMY Refinery buildings, they make every industrial area look complete. Only problem is its kinda lifeless, theres no cars and theres a few empty plots of land about that need filled with something. 7.5/10 Ilikehotdogsalot- Awesome skyline, the building in the centre with the red and white spire is one of my very faves that I got off STEX. Minus a whole point though for the use of a lens flare... its a nice touch but the pic would have looked better without it 8.5/10 Crazychickensc12- Nice touch to the pic but its not that hard to filter an image in photoshop. I can see behind the filter though that it is quite a magnificent city, well done. 8/10 Righty, time for me to play my ace-

Awesome Idea, Cityhawk! I've got so many that I don't play, their just to fill void space. I'll be sure to post some up here when my game starts up and I start taking screenshots. EDIT- Ah, here... this is a city called Tibette at the foot of some mountains. NOTE- This city was something I built 2 years ago when I started the region, it is seriously pre-simtropolis, I haven't been on it recently to give it time to devolop... or destroy this monstrocity completley. Urgh, it seems embarassing showing those, concidering Cityhawks forgotton City was at least half decent, lol.

LP- Nice pic. Reminds me of my earlier cities... i've got out of building skyscraper jungles now, doesn't seem appealing anymore. Half a point off for the no job zots 7.5/10 Ilikehotdogsalot- Great urban closeup, made better being black & white. The diagonal road is a nice touch too, makes me think of quiet alleys that are lined with cafe's. A point off for the contemperary buildings (im just nit picking now ), look much better with just Chicago and New York building styles, looks older and nicer for b&w. 8/10 LP- Again very nice. Good you don't have the other pavement textures that I do... they don't look that great with GLR. Plus, its nice to see your not too afraid to use the GLR, extra point, heh... that horrible crash is easily avoided, don't know why people complain 9/10 Heres mine, the early morning commuter smog from the highway slowly creeping towards a slum-

Thanks people for the crtique on my pic... its great to see people aren't scared to point out the flaws I've tried to hide that water bug as best as possible, lol... not well enough! Well, i feel guilty for not commenting on pics before, so heres a ruddy long post from me- Mulefisk- Nice pic. Great lighting effects but Very dark towards the lefthand side and the road should be a little bit darker in my oppinion 7.5/10 ilikehotdogsalot- Good effort, i like the feel and the brick street. I think you zoomed in one too much though, the pixels spoil the picture. 7/10 Capitol- Great skyline, loads of buildings i've never seen before, yet, its pretty dead. A few cars wouldn't have hurt 7/10 DarkJedi- Nice use of the grass lots and plaza's here, I love the green lights on the smaller building, very nice. Plus, theres some traffic in there too (extra half a point in my books ). The blue is too strong though, it would look really nice if it was a little more opaque. 8.5/10 Chihilidog- Nice effort, think I should give you a 10 for putting up with so many Maxis buildings, lol. I really like that spire near the gazebo thingie, but I think its abit overkill on the plazas. I guess If you haven't got much custom content, you can't really help it. 8/10 ilikehotdogsalot- Niiice explosion, i've always wanted to post one but theres always the decision of what to blow up... im very indecisive. Its very crowded for the Capitol bit though, I don't live in DC, or even in the US, but I do have a National Geographic map of the area... and its not that crowded 9/10 for being original... lol El Burro- 0/10 you suck Metasmurf- Very nice, very realistic. Love the water flora and that old looking ferry terminal... plus traffic (half a point!). Can't say much in the way of critique but you could remove the stone from under the ferry... i'd hate to be the captain, it'll be brown trousers time when it comes to docking. 9/10 ilikehotdogsalot- Another explosion? Whats you CJ called, "Life and the times of Baghdad?"... hehe, kidding, I love explosions, you don't see enough destruction in this thread Did you photoshop the red in the bottom right? If not, iv'e never noticed it before... and i've blown a lot of stuff up. 8.5/10 (-.5 coz of 2 explosions in a row ) LP- Wha... amazing stuff, very seasonal, very realist, love it loads. Doesn't seem to be very much in the way of traffic, ad the toolbar gets in the way but amazing pic all the same. 9/10 Phew... excuse me while I pass out...
