A DLL plugin for SimCity 4 that enables submenu functionality: This DLL is a dependency for other submenu-compatible plugins. adds more than 50 standard submenus such as Plazas, Green Spaces, Sports and many more. fixes the game's menu rendering issues caused by duplicate or missing menu icons. (Exemplar Patching functionality has been removed in version 2.0.0 of the Submenus DLL. This is now implemented in the Resource Loading Hooks DLL, so Exemplar Patching doesn't depend on the Submenus DLL anymore. Make sure to upgrade to version 2.0.1 or later of the Resource Loading Hooks DLL.) System requirements SimCity 4, version 1.1.641 (the digital release) (more info) Windows 7+ or Linux Dependencies Resource Loading Hooks DLL version 2.0.1 (or later) by Null 45 Installation Copy the DLLs into the top-level directory of either Plugins folder (place it directly in <Documents>\SimCity 4\Plugins or <SC4 install folder>\Plugins, not in a subfolder). Copy the file submenu-essentials.dat and optionally the individual submenu files anywhere into your Plugins folder. You may skip installing an optional submenu if it contains neither Flora nor any sub-submenus. In that case, the buildings of that submenu will appear in the default top-level menu instead. Alternatively, the mod can be installed with Sc4pac: memo:submenus-dll Credits Submenu icons created by @Panda, with contributions by @Chrisim and @Andreas Roth Exemplar Patching implemented in collaboration with @Null 45 Further information The DLL dynamically creates new submenus by checking for some new exemplar properties, for example in the building exemplars of ploppable lots. This allows anyone to create additional submenus for their lot sets. The modding details are described in the Readme file. List of Standard Submenus added by this mod. Simtropolis discussion thread

Prop Names and Query Fix 1) WHAT IS THIS? WHY SHOULD I USE IT? Has it ever bothered you that when using custom lots composed of Maxis building props, they were not really treated like an actual BAT, but displayed the prop hover query instead, and always appeared under their original name instead of taking over the name of the custom lot? Then this download might be interesting for you. 2) WELL, WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT DO? If you are not sure what I mean, check the provided screenshots. The left one shows the situation "as is". (I used Don Miguel's "The Barnacle Seafood Restaurant"). As you can see, the lighthouse behaves like an ordinary prop, and not like a part of the restaurant building as it's supposed to do. You only see that little bubble instead of a building hover query, and you can read its original designation ("Leuchtturm" is German for "lighthouse") rather than the name of the building it belongs to. In some cases, the prop in question will not even react properly to your mouse cursor. It will not light up and display a hover query at all. Instead, even when you have your mouse cursor positioned right over it, the mouse cursor will actually highlight whatever lies behind the building. This little fix will make all props of Maxis buildings... - react properly to the mouse cursor - display the hover query of the building it belongs to - adopt the name that was assigned to the newly assembled building In short, all the Maxis building props will behave virtually identical to any BAT or original building! 3) YEAH, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE OFFICIAL "BUILDINGS AS PROPS"? WILL I STILL NEED THEM? This fix can actually be used as a replacement of the following files (i.e. you no longer need them**): bldgprop_vol1.dat (sometimes called "SimCity Buildings as Props.dat" or similar) bldgprop_vol2.dat (sometimes called "Rush Hour Buildings as Props.dat" or similar) Plugin_landmarks_and_other_missing_Props.dat (an assortment of building props Maxis had forgotten, found here) Maxis DLC Props.dat ** Bear in mind you still need to keep the Maxis DLC Props.dat (from the Maxis Buildings As Props and DLC Props v2.1 upload) as that is a relatively new 3rd party creation and isn't covered by this upload. This version is identical to the Maxis Buildings As Props and DLC Props version found on SC4E. 4) HOW TO INSTALL Simply unzip the file contained in this archive ("All Maxis building props with proper names.dat") into your plugins folder. Afterwards, you can move the files mentioned under 3) to a backup folder where you store SimCity stuff (I generally don't recommend deleting anything too hastily). If you feel insecure and don't want to delete the files mentioned above, there is an easy alternative: Simply make sure that this download is loaded AFTER the original files. The original files should then be superseded by this download. You can ensure this by placing this download in a sub-folder that begins with a few z's (e.g. "zzz_Prop Query & Name Fix"). 5) CREDITS The two official "Buildings as props" files are from Maxis. The file "Plugin_landmarks_and_other_missing_Props.dat" was made by ralphaelninja. The tool I used was made by iLive - I cannot thank him enough for the possibilities he gave the community. Please thank these guys, as my contribution to this download was simple minion work. I was lucky enough to be standing on the shoulder of giants. All I did was add the required properties to make things work like I had in mind - a very simple trick, repeated a few hundred times. 6) POSSIBLE COPYRIGHT/IP RIGHTS ISSUES Should you be concerned that this download might violate any rights held by Maxis, rest assured that I checked with dirk prior to uploading, and obtained his official permission to upload this file. Let me use this occasion to thank dirk for his prompt reply and his kind consideration! 14.08.2025 - updated by Ulisse Wolf (see changelog)

KOSC presents: King's Community & Regional Park Pack, Volume 2 Introduction King's Community & Regional Park Pack continues with volume 2 of 2 and much like the first set, covers a myriad of park types. Volume 2 has a heavier focus towards sports courts and complexes and as such, you'll see plenty of new (and renewed) tennis courts, baseball, softball and soccer/football fields for your Sims. Package Overview Included in the following package is a set of custom textures and 36 park lots. Additionally there are a set of dugouts by @Glenni and a grouping of parked cars by @MushyMushy, both of whom were kind enough to provide these props for the set. The parks in this set are broken down into the following categories. Community Parks - 5 lots: These are the standard community parks similar to the ones in the previous volume. Royal Trails - 6 lots: This is a set of semi-modular aimed at filling the in-between areas of your wealthier neighborhoods. Tennis Parks - 4 lots: Tennis-centric lots ranging from small community courts to a large center. Contains a redux (will not override) of the original Green Green Tennis Greens. Sports Fields - 16 lots: Contains different rotations of soccer fields as well as multi-wealth variants of diagonal and orthogonal softball fields. Abandoned Parks - 2 lots: These parks are already partially reclaimed by nature and would look great in a post-apocalyptic setting. Sports Complexes - 3 lots: Large-scale multi-field complexes. Very powerful parks that can massively stimulate city growth. General Stats Park stats are generally designed around their respective wealth. In general: Low Wealth: No R§§§ relief, 50% R§§ relief, full R§ relief. Massively reduced landmark effect (value), park effect (value and radius) and monthly costs. Medium Wealth: 50% R§§§ relief, full R§ and R§§ relief. Moderately reduced park effect (value) High Wealth: Full residential cap relief. Full landmark effect, park effect with increased water consumption and monthly costs. In addition, all parks share the following property: Air pollution reduction, light water pollution (both grow with respect to park size) Tennis Parks follow a different formula (inverted values, with full R§§§ relief and weaker relief for R§§ and R§). Sports Fields have generally fixed cap and park values determined only by wealth and type (softball/baseball/soccer). These fields do not provide a landmark effect. In particular, lower wealth baseball and softball fields will generate minor amounts of garbage as well. Abandoned Parks are extremely weak as parks, providing little to no park effect and cap relief and even generating a bit of garbage! They're offset by being especially cheap to plop and free of maintenance costs. Sports Complexes boast massive amounts of cap relief (progressively weaker by higher wealth) and a massive park effect radius but a much weaker effect value. They are also expensive to plop and have relatively high maintenance costs. The Royal Trails set of parks appear near the top of the parks menu while the rest should slot in-between and after the Maxis parks. Detailed stats and information can be found in the enclosed README. Install Instructions Drop the files in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. If you want to use DAMN (optional), seen the additional instructions below. DAMN Users Only There is a second zip file included that contains DAMN menus for these parks. You will need DAMN for these menus to show up/work. Merge the DAMN folder in the zip with the one inside the SimCity 4 install directory Plugins folder (not documents). For CD/DVD users, the default is - C:/Program Files (x86)/Maxis/SimCity 4/Plugins/DAMN/ For Steam users, the default is - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/SimCity 4 Deluxe/Plugins/DAMN/ Drop the zzzzzz_DAMN_Hidden folder into your standard My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder if you want to hide the lots from the normal menus in-game. If you still want access to the original menu icons, feel free to delete this folder entirely. Texture Replacement This pack uses another set of textures not included as part of any of my previous dependency packs. Those looking to generate a custom set can find the repository for it here. Dependencies Due to the sheer size of this set relative to the first and the need for more variety, the dependency list grows just a bit. These are limited to some more of girafe's HD flora and the Light Replacement Mod. As before, If you've downloaded any of my previous works then you should have a good majority of the required dependencies already.
