2016-02-21_00046.thumb.jpg.9933d3a3c4a87Why is the roof so bright? WHHHHYYYYY?

It doesn't look too bad, though I think that the windows need a rework. The front windows are too big. This would require changes to at least 2 textures: The diffuse and the xys map (contains normal map and specular map). It would also benefit from a color map edit.

5) Suggestions for improvement:

I actually find this home rather cute & cozy. Darkening the roof definitely improved it overall and yes the front windows are slightly large. Is changing the color of the chimney troublesome? I think a gray version might make it not so striking. And about your darkgray variation, is dark green possible? for example (red window frame not necessary though).. :)

5) Suggestions for improvement:

The changes you made worked wonders. I agree the windows aren't the prettiest - I think it would help alot if they were white on all color variations. As for the large windows those aren't that unusual (in Denmark at least). This looks very similar to cheap houses out in the country side here. :) On a large lot I'd put a few trees, but not a proper garden - a bit messy looking would be great actually. :)

5) Suggestions for improvement: I'm wondering why you'd need that extra street light when the street should be lit up anyway. It could be replaced with a bollard light along the path to the door. Maybe a tree or a bush in the front yard, but that's it.
