2016-02-21_00248.thumb.jpg.1b24d3fb80993Pure brutalism (the architecture style)! I wonder why they added so much dirt and grunge, as this is a level 4 asset for high-wealth people (same with most of the other high-wealth building). I also think that the windows are too blue. Is anyone willing to do a re-texture?

Default Stats

  • Zone: Residential Low-density
  • Level: 4 (high-wealth cims)
  • Lot size: 3x3 (can expand to 3x4)

Default Colour Variations & Illumination

Pastel colours: Yellow, Green, Red, Blue - would you colour your villa like that?

Improved Colour Variations

Brutalists like raw concrete, so let's color it like that!

Is it possible to re-color the walls as well? I think a much darker tone suits the brutalist style more, might even make the grunge effect & blue windows not so striking. Probably remove all the satellite props and leave a few solar panels up there, also might look nice with another hedge at the back.

I guess this one could be improved with a complete retexture. Then you can also re-color the walls, the windows...

It looks medium wealth, medium density. It would require complete texture, prop, and lot overhaul to look high wealth, low density. It could also be a low density office.

Dunno where to start with this one. Less blue windows for sure and if it's supposed to be high end housing, less grunge. The large glass front does feel weird as well as the lack of windows on some walls. I don't mind giving the retexturing a try, though I'm not sure if that'll get it to look right. :P  So cleaner looking walls and less blue (and more interesting) windows? Any changes to the windows - add any, change the size or something like that?

3) Stat Classification (you can specify one or multiple values):

  • Zone Type: C or O, maybe R
  • Wealth Level: $$
  • Density: 1 (C), 2 (O), 4 (R)
  • Household & Workplace Count: 3-9

4) Style Classification (you can specify one or multiple values):

  • Commonness: 2 (USA) to 8 (USSR)
  • Construction date & Location: post war 1st (US & allies/capitalist) or 2nd (USSR & communists/socialists) world nations
  • Architecture Style: Brutalist

5) Suggestions for improvement:

Reclassify it, replace yellow with a neutral sandy color, remove flower pots, replace lawn chairs with benches or brutalist fountains/ponds.

If commercial, give it a giant parking lot (requires new, bigger parking props without disabled spots) with sedans and cheap sporty cars.
