Lopräsmut #3: canaltopia

May I introduce you to the small village "Larrington" in the Lopräsmut County:

It's a really small settlement with ~a dozen houses, but it has a great history as one of the 3 "granary villages" in the area. During the 18th century, there was a war between the nation Lopräsmut is placed in and another neighbouring country. Bad luck for the old town of Lopräsmut, as a city in the farmland it was forced to provide the whole national army with food. Only this 3 villages were left to supply the greater area of Lopräsmut. it seemed impossible, but they were able to produce enough grain for the people to survive. Nobody really knows ho they made it, why the wheat grows so rapidly and qualitative good...some people say the "holy waters" of the county have something to do with this....we already puzzled with them in the last updates...

This is the small marina harbour of the village Larrington. You see it's really tiny, just like the village.

Some commercial objects, also some boathouses for the inhabitants. They are actually very old, built by the town government after the war was done, as an tribute to the village people who rescued the area from an famine. The capital, Lopräsmut, got destroyed in WW2, the city is going to rebuild now, that's what this CJ is about:D

some happy little cows enjoing a nice day at the pond/creek...the strange climate conditions are the same like in the other parts of the county, there are no seasons here....

Here's the O'lordy farm, one of the biggest and oldest farms in Larrington. You see it does have an access to the creek, so it can deliver wheat fast to the cities in the west.

Here's an aerial view of the whole village. It's really small as you see.

There's some winery too in Larrington, it's considered as one of the best wines of the whole continent, people say it's due to the "holy waters"....

Here the creek leaves the town and flows to the major western cities....also here ends this entry^^

Have a nice evening!

PS: I would like to ask you what I should concentrate on, respectively what sorts of Cj entries you would like to see (some with much mmp, with streets and stuff (in which I'm completely untalented), city planning and so on, just write a comment about your opinion:D)

Replies

I like it. Some places look a bit bare but overall very nice work.

Cheers

Interesting work, I like how compact it all is. By the way are you using the Berner Oberland terrain mod by any chance?
