Thank you all for the constant support and kind comments!

10000000000000: Sounds like some successful entrepreneurs in the making. Start small, get ambitious as hell from there! Awesome update as usual. I really enjoy your attention to detail, especially with the flora.

Many a fortune was made on the American frontier.

Mithrik: It's awesome what you are doing, SimCoug. You've got some mad skills for lotting and MMPs. And looks like the Railroad Company is going to have more problems from New Sorgun.

You knew New SorGun wouldn’t go down without a fight :)

Porter: Hmmm... Good read. I love the title as well. Quite bully. And, as always, great photos. :)

Thank you – but you should take full credit for the title :)

NMUSpidey: Ah, black diamonds, and so much more valuable and useful than the real thing... I'm looking forward to the next part, of course!

The world ran on coal in those days – and it is still an important resource today.

Andisart: Lovely updates, as always :-) And I think I spotted a diagonal lot or two, hehe ;-) Questions: are you using a SAM road for the main dirt road? Because it has a nice curve in the 2nd last picture.

Yep, diagonal lotting will continue to be showcased here hopefully. I’m looking forward to getting your new houses in here too :) (BTW, Lost Realist is correct – those are wide curves from the rural roads addon (which should be all packed together in NAM 31)

XL: Simply amazing! Where did you get those wonderful white fences?

I think you are probably talking about the SPAM fences? Otherwise, I also use WMP fence props in many lots that I create.

Packersfan: Could you send me in a private message what MMPs you use for the dirt? Really any MMP links you can send me that are good. As you know I'm trying to implement more MMPs and few grass lots. Do you plop your farm fields. I know some of your farms are created with the RRP Fences and stuff, but other fields could either be plopped or grown. What is your technique?

As I mentioned in you CJ, every RCI lot in New SorGun is grown. I use SPAM fields, and I often add in my own personal ‘Farmhouse’ lots that I am working on (that are grown as residential). I hope to release a set of them in the near future. Beyond that, it’s really just adding a few MMP details to make everything tie together.

SimRico: I really like the antiqueness of your town. I'm not sure why I always start mine off in 1900s and sort of hover in the 1950s (before my time) but I think my next city will venture back to the gold rush era and try to capture some of the magic I see in this cj.

Thanks! I’d love to see more historical CJs – so I look forward to what you create!

Benedict: As I said over in the CJ section, another brilliantly conceived update. Congratulations - you're also number one here in the BTT for the CJ Section - nice double whammy.

Thanks Ben, It’s always an honor to see your BTT post here.

Luiz P. Romanini: Ah, the first sign of a succesful city... SEAWALLS!! BTW, excellent update as always, and thanks for the compliments 'bout my review.

Aaaah… yes, New SorGun will look quite different next time we visit :)

I've been a little busy with a certain project, but I had time to get a little teaser image made...

Amazing shot!

MMPs are excellent. I wish I had them.

I can see how you grow all of the western style 19th century houses, but how do you manage to grow the diagonal lots (the ones that look orthoganal on the diagonal streets)?

(I refer to your update Counting Chickens, the second picture)

Otherwise, great work. I unfortunately lack the time and dedication to swap my game around that much but it goes to show the versatility of this game. Keep up the good work; this is getting interesting.

It takes some diagonal BATs, some creative lotting, and a little Modding trickery :)

Take a look over at the Growable Diagonal Lot thread in the Tileset Expansion Project group for a more detailed explanation   I plan on releasing a set of diagonal lots in the near future, and hopefully more will follow.  :)

Love that picture, it looks amazing! Great explosion.. you can almost picture yourself in the era.

I missed a few updates.. but they looked great. It's good to see the railway being built now.

I really love that picture, and I hope the new railway network will be finished soon, so Mr. Finch and New SorGun can strike Steamer Bay and Northern Pacific faster.

Excellent work on the teaser! You always end your entries with a cliffhanger, and I'm always looking forward to the next entry. I'm curious, how far ahead do you play before you update the journal? Do you keep them in tandem or are you years ahead of what you're showing us? And in the long long term (assuming New SorGun makes it that far) how much planning do you do? Oh and have you tried out SC2K13 yet?
