Downtown Gideon

Downtown Gideon serves as the political, economical, and cultural center of the Chatelaillon Parish. It is adjacent to downtown New Marseilles and shares a maritime border with New Marseilles central business district. The downtown area is served by NMMTA bus, subway, and ferry services with connections to Biscuit, Furnell, and New Marseilles. Main street is lined with the Parish's tallest buildings and places of interest. There are also two fortune 1000 companies located along the main street stretch that employs residents from nearby New Marseilles and the (central region) of the Chatelaillon Parish. It is the 3rd largest business district in the New Marseilles metro area.
