Sun Valley Times

Port Constructed

Southeast Sun Valley- Construction crews finished work on brand new port today after months of tedious work straiteing shorelines and constucting peers. Cheif transportation advisor of Sun Valley states that, the port will again boost our industry and our reputation as a city. Certain industries were threating to close their doors had we not built a port for goods. Now that it's up and running we have many new companies knocking on our door. A rail yard as also been constructed as well as a line that runs along the outside of downtown. Here are some photos of the new facility. Notice that it's planed similar to the Navy Port to save money.

The area designated for smaller local fishing and shiping companies.

 

BNSF is owns the rail yard and the main rail line through Sun Valley.

 

And a region view. The Sun Valley port can noew be seen in the Southeastern part of the city. (click image for full screen).

 

 

Sun Valley continues to Expand

 

New people are pouring into Sun Valley daily. Many new neighborhoods are sprouting up all around the city.

Now that is what I call A PORT big, busy, and nitty gritty!
The track layout is realistic. Very good work

The fact that you added, lots of parking space at the port entrance shows a great attention to details!

Hello, Bobinator.

 

This is my first visit and first post to your CJ.  I'm sure it will not be the last.

 

Your region is quite nice.  I have enjoyed my visit to Sun Valley, Sandpoint and Sun Mountain.  You've done a wonderful job in creating your region and your cities and I look forward to their continued development.

 

One of the wonderful things I'm learning from reading CJs is the wealth of information and ideas you can get from the way other people play the game and develop their regions/cities.  I must admit that I am as a sponge absorbing these ideas to the point that I dream at night about how I can apply them...

 

...and apply them I will at some near point in the future.

Wow! Thanks for your great comment Vandy! I'm glad that I was an influence to you! If you like this city journal you should check out some of rewrite's stuff. I think he posted here a page back but look at all of his city journals, that's what inspired and heavily influenced me and Sun Valley. Can't wait to see back at Sun Valley too!
