Jeroni, Jeroni, Jeroni!

Such an artist you are.  Such a creative soul.  Such a wonder...

I absolutely LOVE your International Airport.  It is AWESOME!

Are the puzzle pieces yours, Joerg's, Thalassicus' or a combination thereof?

What I like about what you do, Jeroni, is that you don't just plop put down the bare essentials of an item.  (In other words, you didn't just put down an airport.)  I LOVE the way to take your time and detail what you do.  In my opinion, THAT is what makes your creations so beautiful.  Having experimented myself with detailing, I KNOW how long it takes to get a small area to look just right THEN go on to the next small area, etc., etc.

Great work, once again, Jeroni.  And, if you'll pardon my lousy Spanish...

Wow...the airport looks great.  I really like what you have done with the place.  By the way, what terminals do you use and what elevated train station did you use?

Sorry I haven't posted sooner, but working for you...wow, you are a slave driver!!  Just kidding...I know you understand...you want me working on the add-on pack for your Modular Zoo set rather than posting comments in your CJ. 9.gif11.gif  I just haven't even had any time for anything else either...not even time to update my own CJ... 26.gif

Another great update...I am having a minor surgical procedure tomorrow and may not be on for a few days (SNIP! SNIP!)... but in the mean time...those updates...  keep em coming... 44.gif

Hey Jeronij, that's a great new airport, I love how every little detail you have in it is so nice. I am really loving the way those terminals all connect to each other and I know that was all made in Lot Editor. 2.gif

rewright: I believe he has used the LE to remove the bush flora around the lightpoles and make it so it will blend in with the airport tarmac texture. 44.gif

aldara: He uses the terminal in this set, and has modified it quite a bit using the LE.

And that elevated rail station here .

Great Airport Jeronij,

You're a master in planning and sculpting.

If you are able to send some of that 35 degree Celcius up north to Holland it would be most welcome.

Were did the Kuwait piece come from STEX?

Hi Jeronij,

Once again wonderfull update my friend! Great job. Thanks for asnswering to my question. I read the link to page 79 carefully and I think I might have the answer to all of the requests you get! I am the volunteer you have been looking for to publish your lots! I know nothing about editing or modeling lots but you give me a file name and I will hunt it down even if it's in hell my friend!9.gif18.gif I have all mornings off with not much to do at all except for 2 or 3 weeks per semester when I have to take care of my private college things. If I can help you at all to publish these amazing lots you make please let me know! We could make a prop and texture pack for all your lots.

Think about that bud! For now could you send me the triangular piece of your diagonal fence with bushes? I will send a pic of what I mean.

That will be all for now!

Thanks!

I just always am breath taken when seeing this CJ. The realism simply shouts out here and really makes me even feel like playing SC4 seriously once again 44.gif

This might be my last post in this CJ, but let me say this...It was a magnificent CJ to follow and I really enjoyed it over the 7-8 month span. It sure is magnificent. About the prop thing...I just did a little experiment and with smaller props...they don't display sometimes...Oppie's canal props for example.

Most excellent! Brilliant! A work of art! Impressive! Bravo! Encore! 3.gif

By the way, I found the music for the finale. It comes from Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals. I don't know how good it sounds on MIDI, but it is a rather impressive short little piece. Finale

Hello Jeroni!

Even though I lurked more than I posted I followed your CJ from the very beginning,

and even though my playing style is more following the terrain than big terrafarming I love your CJ. Too bad it is about to end but on the other hand I can understand that it became too much. Also I am HEAVILY interested in what is foloowing ... 19.gif

The placement of the bridges in the last update is really great. I also like that V-shapeed railway station. But the overall view is tremendous!

BTW: This is my 333rd post and I want to dedikate it to your CJ!!! 39.gif39.gif39.gif

Wow! Nice Skyline!!

I like the way you place your parks and all that green in your cities. It looks just like Singapore! 48.gif

And your Airport is really magnificent(spelling?), and it looks fully functionnal too! Great job!! 2.gif

I saw in pic 96.11 that you have made a cargo terminal. But it looks a bit empty... Why not put some parked cargo planes there? (if you haven't done it already)

And at the top of the pic i can see hangars, maybe maintenance hangars. The airplanes must be able to go in and out of that area.

And one last thing, there's usually no (big)lighting near the runways. Only the marking on the taxiways and runways, plus some luminar signs.

Those are minor details, but they help to realism...

Oh and BTW Singapore Changi Intl. Airport uses the same runway layout/configuration as your airport! 9.gif

Any way Great work on your airport!! It's the best i've seen so far!!!44.gif

If you build cities with the same attention to detail as your transportation system then this journal is well worth continuing

That was the 4th post on this thread.  Oh my, how true that is.  You've stepped into CJ legend, meaning that CJ's haven't been the same since you started.

And also, you've been a pretty suave lot builder, putting out some lots that have really redefined the look of the game (diagonal sure does look good when dealing with grids).

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.
