 It is overwhelming that someone could take this game and make it

into something Maxis never thought of. Thanks to the Modders, Batters and the NAM, Cycle Dogg and others who make this possible.

Hey Jeronji, I must say those pictures of the Costa Tramuntana as usual are great. I just love the way the trees look with the water and that awesome bridge. The overall shots of course lacked nothing in being beautiful. I really loved 76.08, the office towers with the port and everything are really some of the best I've seen in any city journal. I can say also that your rural community shots are grea too. I loved what you have done with the small village with the medditerranean homes and the pond kit ( I have always loved that amigo).

A quick question, and apologies if it's been covered previously... I've read a lot of the pages, but only discovered this thread once it past 50 odd, so I may have missed it in trying to catch up...

I see a lot of pipes around your cities, that come from various tanks or from underground. They're white and there are usually two next to each other on the one LOT. Is this something you created, or downloaded from the STEX???
I've searched, but I can't find it, and they're very good!

Phoenix Rising: check out pic 76.01. You'll see the pipes I'm talking about to the right of the bridge, running along the waters edge upwards towards to two white tanks. There's also some on the opposite bank of the water inlet there. I thought they may have been the Risning Sun pipse, but those are only singles, not two side by side as they are in this picture.

Copy on the CSX refinery, I'll check it out! Cheers.

Some time now to share some feedback, and post some pics about my last LE creations for SCR use only.

 

Since those lots have so many dependancies, I dont think it is a good idea to release them in the STEX, And there are some dependancies really difficult to find now, or completely impossible, since many japanese props are being used, and some of the links I used to dowload the lots do not work anymore . If someone were interested in some of the custom lots seen in this CJ, just PM and I can send you the lot as is. You can check the dependencies list with the Ilives Reader if you need someone.

 

After this little clearance, lets see what I was working with last night.

Talking about the airport, I have read your suggestions, and I have studied some real airports in the world, and even I did not wanted to make a real scale airport, I am seriously thinking about bulldoze the half-done one, and start a new one from the scratch. I

i must say it keeps getting better i mean wow look at all the lots youve made that make this CJ even better.

look at all the those buses and taxis!! Do they actally get used because thats just too many for me

This is the first time in 77 pages that I post here. The last couple of months I have gradually worked myself through all pages and came to the conclusion that the way you have sculpted your city is the way I like most.

 

I tried to build some cities a couple of times and more and more I realized how much I was influenced by your CJ and Elladremme. You two have been a great inspiration to me and continue to be while I work on my own cj. I am positive that you will keep this high standard up ... and I will make sure to start commenting on every next update of SCR. Thank you for your great inspiration and the wonderful lots you have donated to the community.

I really like the bus parking, those would be nice around certain landmarks and other tourist attractions.

I am  sitting here thinking of all those taxis and busses leaving the airport at the same time. LOL  Forgive me. I am easily amused. The lots are wonderful with the billboards and the tall lights.

AS to Maxis I agree with you-they left it open for us to be creative. I am sure glad they gave us that option.

there is on page 66 in your last updated picture a building that looks like the shanghai financial center (or is the SFC) if you could send met that building because I am looking for that building for ages now but I can't find it anywhere.(darn)

Incredible! You're really making an effort in creating a realistic airport, first the parking to subway lots and now these taxi and bus stands, they all look very impressive. It's a shame that creating a real size airport isn't do-able in SC4. I myself live very near Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol), and have been thinking about how you could recreate something like it in SC4. I don't think you could.. It's huge! You would need many large city tiles to create it, it's like a city by itself..

 

However, I pretty certain you can create something that looks just like the real thing, just a bit smaller. I'm very very curious how it will turn out! Good luck!

Your tourist bus stop and taxi head quarters look great!!! Very realistic!!
But there's just like one little thing bothering me.
That dead end on the tourist bus stop, i think you should do somekind of a ring version... You know, an entry on one side and a exit on the other.

Some more, where there's tourists there's always a souvenir shop or a kiosk. I donno if there would be one at the airport... But it could be a good addition to a downtown version. What do you think???

I am glad to see that there will be a mosiac of the port area, I really can't wait. I must say I really loved those lots you have made, especially the Airport Tourist Bus stop, really great creation you have made there.

The bridge tutorial...wow..great help for anyone who of course would want to use that to create beautiful bridges. Great work on that and of course very helpful.
