I followed a guide and I got bit

Things were going well with SimCity 4 until i went to plop a beach, then the game crashed. I rebooted, tried in a new region, it happened again. I have all the plugins, I have all the necessary items outlined in Wolf's post (below) and it still crashes. Every plugin folder in the SimCity 4 Deluxe directory on my computer (GOG Galaxy, Maxis) has every plugin from sc4pac and from Wolf's recommendations and it still crashes. The 4GB patch is patched, the voodoo2 installation has gone through without issue... What now?

Don't use their launcher. (It's fine for modern games, but not SC4.)

    which beach... do you have a link, where you downloaded from? It might be corrupted, or conflicting or just broken in some way...

    Have you installed SC4 SIM (formerly CAM Core)?
