Help with NAM for Mac

how do I get this to work on my Mac I thought cross platform would allow me to install I lost at this point

Cross-platform does indeed mean you can install it on a Mac.  You'll need Java in order to run the installer--the Java Runtime Environment for macOS can be picked up at Adoptium.  Install the x64 version if you're on an Intel Mac, and the aarch64 version if you're on Apple Silicon. Once Java's installed, you should be able to simply run the NetworkAddonMod_Setup_Version48.jar file that's included in the package. 

You'll also want to install the JDatPacker utility off SC4Evermore . . . which also requires Java.  The Aspyr Mac port, at least in the past, had a quirky issue where it freaks out if the number of files in the Plugins exceeds a certain threshold (and that threshold is inexplicably lower if you're offline, for some reason), and JDatPacker packs the files together to make it harder to hit that limit.

Further instructions can be found here on the NAM website--trying to get it running on the Steam version of the Aspyr Mac port is far easier than the App Store version.  (Yes, that does still mention Version 47 and not Version 48, but there's been no change in the installation procedure between the two versions.)

I downloaded and follow installation directions for some reason When I restarted my game I didn't see anything NAM Related/ step 1 I downloaded NAM step 2 I then downloaded Java from Adoption then proceeded to download Off SC4Evermore then went to security settings to allow NAM to run on my computer and still no NAM.....

To install NAM on Mac, you must follow the procedures that are given here

You need to pay attention based on the version of SC4 Mac you are using as the folders in which the files should be placed change

But I advise you to use the Windows version of SC4 on MAC using a Wine and similar applications as the Windows version is more stable than the MAC version

I've merged your new topic with the previous, since they're the same subject about running the NAM on Mac. Also I moved it to the Mac forum as Cori suggested.

Maybe the posts above might help? I hope you find a solution to get it working, but it's fine to keep asking questions inside of this topic.
