Hi!
Through whatever route you have found this thread. After some time of posting the stuff I made, I figured it was about time to create a central spot to share the things I'm working on. Maybe get some advice from others or possibly offer it to people. My cities are usually Scandinavian inspired, so the lots will most likely focus on that part of the world. Feel free to let me know if there is a building you would like a lot for. No guarantees though!

What you'll find here
Lots of lots and possibly some textures.

What you won't find
Models of any kind. Figuring out PIM-X was hard enough and with limited free time I don't have any ambition to start making models. Besides, we already have over two decades of other people's work available right now :)

To start things off, here's a relot of a supermarket I'm working on:

    Konsum.JPG.f9260ca946589abc151ea7978581729d.JPG

The idea was a lot that would fit in a town or smaller city. With a 2x2 minimum lot size I had to figure out something around the building. In this case I also had to account for the loading dock in the rear and another door on the right:

    673237d6c8f61_Konsum2.JPG.61c423c5c5fb45235969692153806318.JPG

The way I have 'solved' this is by connecting the parking area with the loading area. There's a section in front of the dock to prevent people parking there. The freight truck is a personal favorite from one of Zero7's works. Ideally it would be a timed prop, but you can't have everything. There's a small garden section on the corner. The two floors gave me the impression people might live on the top floors. Konsum is a cooperative supermarket too, so maybe the people running it also sell part of the stuff they grow?

My question to the community would be: does this seem finished to you? I have tried to add some of Girafe's flowers on the grass, but it felt a bit crowded and 'too much'.

    The Konsum file is available:

Working on this set of apartments. The rear area near the fence feels a bit empty? Would love to know what other people think.

Using many of the same assets I've made a similar lot with another church. Any thoughts?

I really like the gas stations by @pclark06, but sometimes it was difficult to find a good spot for them in my towns. Even with all the content available I struggled finding buildings that could serve as a small shop or kiosk. Eventually I found this one by @Oidaas though :D

It's a 3x3 lot designed to be used for corners. Would love to hear what people think!

I liked it, the building being diagonal is a nice plus. Nothing much to say, I would use it as it is now already ^^

I think you chose well for the building. Depending on what look you are going for, I think the lot looks a little empty. I always like to add some boxes and trash around the dumpsters, and there are Maxis props that are great for this. I might also add one or two more cars either at the pumps or in front of the store. Maybe also add some people gathering around the building or at tables Delecto has some nice people, SG Vol 1 has some nice ones, or even Maxis people I like to use. I don't know if it is the same everywhere in the world, but at least in America in very small towns or rural areas, places like this are fairly popular places to hang out at - get some food, gossip with locals, etc.

I know what you mean. Unfortunately the screenshot hid some of the timed car props. Below is an edited version in PIM-X. I've increased the length of the strip of grass on the right at the cost of the entrance there. There's now a small sign and a group of people near the shop, and two boxes or crates next to the dumpsters. I tried the Maxis box props first, but due to their size they seemed out of place. These props by Gascooker were just what I wanted :)

    And a residential lot:

I really like how this one turned out. Originally thought of it as a corner lot, but needed to fill an empty space on the left since the model is offset slightly. I think the flower garden worked well there. Would love to hear other people's thoughts!

I think it turned out great. The flower garden area is a nice touch. It's a great way to fill up those little awkward areas.

    And it's available:

It comes in a 1x1 and 2x2 configuration. The 1x1 is really basic, but should fit well in W2W areas. The 2x2 probably fits well on corners. The design has just some minor differences with the version I shared earlier. I tried switching out the garages for other props, but couldn't find any that would look better. Moved them slightly towards the corner and added some extra flowers to fill the gap. The car is different too for some color variation.

Some outlines in PIM-X of a new project:

    Football_outlines.JPG.3e5a2deb53108b218830bb5a3c264bf7.JPG

I think I had the stands and boarding (model by @coultharda) in my 'to do' folder for a while now. It started when I saw this creative post over at the SimCity 4 subreddit. Like with a lot of other files from 2007 the model still holds up, but the vanilla textures and props don't do it any favors. It just needs a bit of remastering really :D

Staying with the Scandinavian theme of my cities I wanted to create a small sporting complex that could realistically serve as a stadium for smaller 2nd division teams in Norway or Sweden. Fortunately @Oidaas has uploaded several prop packs with buildings that could double for this purpose. The building near the corner was originally a train station, but I think it also works as a club house. The one above it is a barn, but could also be a dressing room.

Plenty stuff still to be done: the vanilla football field textures are good enough, but I'm not a fan of the edges of the grass. I tried to cover them up with some hedges on the left, but that's not an ideal solution either as far as I'm concerned. I also haven't decided on the upper part of the lot. Some small stands or benches would probably work.

Looking very nice! This project and the ones you just released, you're contributing a lot to the scandinavian part of the game!!
