Can't click on anything

Recently I downloaded the game on my 2023 M2 MacBook Air and have found that I am unable to click on anything. I can only click on a small square around the centre of the screen and either the controls on the bottom of the screen and the options on the right are unable to be clicked, so I cannot either start a city or alter my settings to try fix the issue. All the advice on this issue relies on changing in game resolution - which I can't do as I can't click the settings. I feel like this is probably due to the notch on top of the screen, but does anyone know a way to either play in a windowed mode or to fix this issue?

While not a Mac user myself, I do recall reading about this. Check out the linkys in this reply:

If you're a notch user, then maybe check out the info here, here and here (Steam community), that should be fixable using Windowed mode or could be related to a second display if you are using one. But there aren't a whole load of options you can change for the Mac version and this seems to be a known incompatibility.

And I'll move your topic into the Mac forum. *;)

If you are using Steam, be sure also that you have the M-Series beta of SC4.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.
