How to enlarge the MMPs?

Hi Guys,

I'd like to ask if there is any possibility to increase the size of MMPs like sand / rock / gravel path plops?

I'd specifically like to see bigger instances of plops generated by the way of this set. While it is quite possible to cover extensive area with these plops, I'm just wondering if there is any simple way to make a single plop even bigger than it already is, so that it covers more space?

If I remember correctly, MMPs are still props at the end of the day, and as such, they can be modified by Cogeo's Model Tweaker.

Keep in mind, though, that such modification is quite aggressive, and will probably cause heavy pixelisation.

Thanks @matias93, but after checking it turned out that HBS plops are .fsh files. Given the fact that each "flavor" of path is divided into a multitude of views and zooms, it would take huge amount of time to enlarge them all...

As you may already know, I am simply trying to find the best way to cover large area with additional textures. I just thought that MMPs might be better than adjusting ploppable textures. This requires MMPs that are sufficiently large to grant fast workflow. HBS are probably the largest ones I know but I still thought that it would be good to increase their size by 10-15%...

There is a tree controller for those big Heblem trees. The trick to getting the biggest ones mostly, is temporarily draining the water out of the tile with setsealevel 0 cheat. As for lotting them, I don't much recommend going past 6x6's as they get unwieldy after that. Recommend 1x1, 4x4, 6x6. You want to rotate them as you go, or they get a wallpaper pattern.

My goal is to make dirt patches bigger, not the trees.

The thread title implies different. Try these-

They match that beach brush from the Poseidan set you are using. There are all sorts of dirt textures available that you can use in LotEditor or your preferred program.

Yep, I was thinking about this solution as well, but that would require appropriate planning if one wishes to criss-cross the resulting patch with roads or rail networks at a later time. One would need to leave some "corridors" open for the placement of such additional items.

Another issue are the edges of any such area. If you look for natural, realistic ones, applying square-based lots requires additional finishing touches to make the entire setup seamless.

The various sagebrush mmps bury those edges quickly and effectively. The same applies for other rural textures. Even tropical. And really well when shadows are turned on.

I checked it, and the dependency file (https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/24398-hbs-flora-prop-pack-vol01/) also includes S3D files inside, so you should be able to modify it with the Model Tweaker, without touching the FSH files directly at all.
