Returning from very long hiatus

Hello,

You might know me as chfzdn as I recently changed my name. I was in preparation of entering college in the last 2 years. You know, I'm Indonesian and entering Indonesian college isn't easy. This meant I couldn't access Simtropolis for a while. After the prep and tests over, I wish I could back here. But I had to prepare my college and most important, I trapped in a not-so-good mental situation because in reality, I have to derail a bit from my dream college and faculty. I was wishing for urban planning in a tier 1 uni. But thanks to fierce competition, I have to resort to accounting in a decent uni. I'm finally happy to announce that I'm officially returning from my hiatus. After 2 years I'm not responding to complains of my mods, I decided to return. I saw changes to the site and I got a most liked in my profile. I also saw my Cap Lifter became so famous that it deserves a heart. Thanks for all of your contributions! I'll make a post about asking SimCity 4 questions to ChatGPT, a hottest thing in the tech world. See you next time. And also, does this year have some sort of Trixies?

We're happy to have you return after your hiatus, and glad to hear things are a bit more settled now for you.

As you may have seen, January 14th was SimCity 4's 20th anniversary. You may have noticed our new site header commemorating the occasion. We're pleased that after all these years, the SC4 community is still active and thriving, thanks to new custom content creation. There's currently the Challenges which have a week remaining to enter.

That sounds cool about asking questions about SimCity 4 via ChatGPT. Of course, we still encourage people to ask questions on the forums where people can provide thoughtful answers and insights. The key benefit of the forums is the aspect of community discussion, and allowing others to search and find similar solutions. I suppose such AI language models could be used a bit like chat bots where people ask common answers, then links to resources are provided.

Regarding your question about the Trixies, they'll likely make a comeback sometime, but there's still no new news on when that might happen.

Cori is still unable to return to active ST participation at present, but we hope she can do someday.

We look forward to seeing you around again on the forums!

Hope for the best for her! I hope Trixies will come back. Hopefully.

Regarding to my plan, that's gonna be tentative. I'm not a time planner guy. So, there are lots of commitments that I haven't commit to yet.

It's been a while I'm here in Simtropolis. Unfortunately, I have to take hiatus again. Let me explain. So, I have a bad time management. I should've returned from hiatus since October-November. But I decided to wake up in February, which is pretty late. Why? Because I have to focus on my entrance exam again in few months, this time I'm aiming for better degrees. I don't know what I was thinking back then but I do have some tendencies to come up really late. I'm so sorry for that. Don't worry, I might be able to send a submission to that walkable city challenge, hopefully. But outside of few times, I won't back to the forum again, until maybe later in the year or worst, if I have to do entrance again, later next year. I'm really struggling with my entrance. So please, help me. I mean, really. Hopefully I'll get what I want. I'll send mine if I'm accepted. If not, you have to wait a quite long time.

Thanks for all of you who supports me so far. Hopefully I'll return. If you have questions, especially regarding to my struggle, please send it. I'll still welcome till end of month, hopefully.

Too bad to hear you go once again. I wish you obtain the entrance result that will pave the way to the future you'd like to choose.  Real life should always be more important than games, so your choice is obvious and appropriate.
