Tram on avenue problem

Hi! 
I have a problem with the tram: residential or commercial areas do not connect with the tram on avenue. Can anybody help me?

This is a well-known limitation of all the dual tram and road networks, and there's a workaround:

• First build the base surface road network (in this case, the avenue).
   
• Apply the zones however you want, keeping in mind that you don't want the zones fronting where you plan to put stations. A good way to do this is using the in-game signs and label system to identify where you want to put these, you can write something as simple as STOP wherever you want them.
   
• Once done zoning, replace the avenue with the corresponding tram-in-avenue pieces and the tram stations; the zones will front the avenue lanes and have access to them.

Or if you've already built the TiA network, just hold CTRL whilst zoning and it should snap back to the network properly.
