I cannot unzip files to my Plugins folder

Please help whats the best way step by step i can unzip my files into my plugins

The basic process to unzip files involves:

1. Right click a zip file.
2. Use the Extract All option and follow the steps.
3. Move (or copy) the extracted files into your Plugins folder.
   Located at: C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins

An alternate tool is 7-Zip which allows extracting more advanced compressed archives, including 7z and RAR files.

A word of mention is if you have enough storage space, it's a wise idea to keep zip files in a separate parallel location to your Plugins folder. This way it's possible to extract them again if needed, and open up any readme documentation as is often contained inside the zips. There's no need to re-zip the files once you've got them in Plugins safely. Inside of there you may wish to create a subfolder structure to then manage your installed custom content.
