2021 Big Sur + Regions??

Hey,

Does anybody play on a newer version of Mac, and has added any custom Regions?

The file directory format has changed.  It used to be /Users/___/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.simcity4.appstore/----->

But now, it is:

/Users/___/Library/Containers/SimCity4™ Deluxe Edition/----->

...
 

When adding a new BMP file to the new region, on MAC, you have to enter the location MANUALLY.

Therefore, I have no idea what to enter to access the BMP file.  I have tried all these different combinations with no luck:

SimCity4™ Deluxe Edition

simcity4™ deluxe edition

simcity4deluxeedition

simcity4™deluxeedition

etc etc etc

...

I've reached out to Asypr for "help" but don't expect to hear anything back.

Let me know if anyone has any luck!  Currently, I have 0 ways to add a custom region to my game.  Kinda lame... I have many words for Aspyr.  Maybe... class action lawsuit?

Unfortunately, these are the major reasons that if you wish to have any real fun with SC4 on a Mac, you should invest in the Steam Version.

Enter your entire path to your BMP file within quotation marks, that is how you should be able to solve it, otherwise enter "\" before spaces.

Using the steam version, how do I access the map files to add them correctly to the game?
