Alternate Keyboard help

Hi!  I just downloaded and installed the NAM, and its working fine from what I can tell.

I have one issue though: I play the game on a RAZER gaming laptop, and the keyboard does not have a HOME or END key, which are needed to rotate the NAM items.  Is there any alternative to these keys, or is there a way to remap them to some keys I do have?

Thanks!

Whatever remapping options you may have, would come from 3rd party tools, since there is no option in game.

Usually most laptops do have these keys and a number pad, but it requires the use of a Fn + Key press to use them. Look on the right side of your keyboard. Otherwise someone in the Razer forums would probably know.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Drop this in your Plugins folder: Removed :O

Then in the game pressing the letter h will act as the Home Key and the letter e will act as the End Key. This also means the h will not put the Clinic on your cursor nor will the e change your cursor to High Density Industrial Zoning. You can still access those via the in game menus.

Edit: Turns out I didn't test this thoroughly. I had a building on the cursor and it did work. I just presumed that solved the problem. Turns out the override does not work with NAM pieces. *

Well done, I forgot you could re-map the keys in one of the files.

Turns out to not be so well done. :O

I'd tested with a building on the cursor and those rotated fine with the key re-mapping, but it doesn't work with NAM puzzle pieces. I've removed the file above. *

Thanks to everyone who helped me, or attempted to - whether successful or not I really appreciate the attention!

I found a little freeware program that allows me to remap keys via a virtual keyboard, and I have got the home and end keys mapped to my square brackets keys.  It works great!  Now I just have to run to the pharmacy to get some aspirin to help with the headache of trying to actually USE all those NAM things without having a clue!  :)

If I may humbly suggest, I have a beginners guide to using NAM series on YouTube. It explains the general concepts of using the NAM along with step by step examples of many of the most useful features.
