NAM 39: What About RUM?

@rivit

I'm still at NAM 36 (but not for long!). I have an add-on called RUM for NAM 36. Right now I am grinding through the installation for NAM 39 (which means deleting my old NAM 36 version). I need to find out what to do with RUM for NAM 36. Is there a new RUM for NAM 39? Does RUM for 36 work with 39? Has RUM been assimilated into NAM? What should I do with my RUM 36 folder?

If this was addressed sometime in the past, please forgive me. I've searched far and wide but not found any info. Maybe I am the last loyal user of RUM :cry:

Thanks!

@jeffryfisher

I haven't made the upgrade of RUM since v36. I've been having eye trouble which limits my ability to work on it. However, RUM for NAM36 works as intended with the newer NAMs even if it hasn't been reviewed against the new things.  The textures on the new fancy draggable L1 viaduct pieces will not change with RUM.

Some of it has been now incorporated into NAM. In section RUM/F NAM VIADUCT RAIL files that start with the designation ERRW36 can all be deleted as they are now updated into NAM.

NAM37 and later has a new tunnel portal - the ones in RUM will still work, but you may like to have the new one.

There are other minor things (textures) but it can do no intrinsic harm if they are left behind.
