Hello :)

I installed the new version's NAM (NAM36) a little ago, and i wanted to create the diagonal bridge, so i putted all of the files "Diagonal bridges enabler" in plugins.

In game, however, i could see the feature of this plugins but the water dosen't drained.... so, in the end, i couldn't create the diagonal bridges....

Anyone know how can i solves this problem? I don't know if this problem came from the new version's NAM, or from the another SimCity systeme problem...

Thanks, in advance, your response !

There is a separate file called something like the Diagonal Bridge Enabler. You put that in plugins to get rid of the water, build your bridges, save, exit, then remove the Enabler. I'll find a linky to it and edit that in here in a minute or three.

Hmm. That's odd. I'm out of ideas cause I've never used it myself. I'll go ahead and move this topic into the NAM forum and we'll get the experts in on it.

The files as included with the DBE are sufficient to drain the water, should they not be doing so, another installed mod is most likely interfering with it's operation. Nothing has changed with NAM that affects the DBE's functionality, due to how it works, this will pretty much remain the case.

Step 1: make sure you haven't renamed the folder for the DBE addon, by default that will be:

    ~Diagonal Bridge Enabler (Temporary Files)

If that isn't the issue, you should remove any and all slope mods, tunnel mods etc then try again. Such mods alter the same properties the DBE needs to work. The tilde "~" used in the default folder name should ensure the DBE overrides all such properties, but if you've a particularly cluttered set of files in Plugins, something might be loading afterwards.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.
