SimCity 4 Cheats plugin money

I don't know if this is the right forum but i'm trying to download the money cheats plugin and it won't work, im prolly doing it wrong. there are 3 folders (2 jpeg, 1 application extension), do I extract all of them or just the 2 that say plugin? also people say to move it to top off plugins, how do I do that? It'll depend on which money cheats plugin you are referring to.

Is it the Extra Cheats DLL that allows you to use the moolah command? Or some other plugin?

yea its the extra cheats dll from simtropolis, I got installed but when I do the moolah from the drop down list and type the money and press enter my money stays the same.

Ok. It needs to go in Plugins folder and not any sub folder of Plugins. Ideally in the installation directory, but I believe it'll work in the Documents Plugins too.

Yes, that's correct. That command doesn't work without the DLL installed properly.

Let us know if there's a specific problem downloading the Extra Cheats DLL (or any other file). This does need to be placed straight inside of one's Plugins folder for it to work. On the contrary it means if placing it inside a subfolder and it won't load (as @CorinaMarie said).

The right click ability of the dialog box will indicate whether the Extra Cheats are functioning correctly. In these cases I usually find it becomes fully functional upon restarting the game, from where all plugins are re-loaded into memory.

Yea its in the plugins folder and I restarted game and the menu comes down with all the cheats but moolah one doesn't work when I click on it its in box, then I type amount of money , press enter and nothing happens.

Just to clarify, the moolah command must be used in the form of:

moolah <value>

For example, to set city funds to one million and it'd be using:

moolah 1000000

It's possible to type this without needing to go through the right click menu. The command isn't case sensitive.

Also just make sure not to use the dollar sign ($) or anything before the amount to set. This needs to be the value on its own with nothing else. Then press the Enter key to run the command and that should be exactly how much money your city treasury then has. It won't add to existing funds, but what moolah does is sets the total directly to the value specified. So if there was $147,137 already, this would become $1,000,000 when moolahing to one million.
