When you see brown boxes in the game that indicates a missing model. This is most often caused by the building relying on another file which contains that model. Those other required file(s) will be listed as dependencies and those need to be installed in Plugins too.

For any specific brown box you see, we will need more information. If you can post a zoomed in picture of the lot that is showing the boxes along with the information from the query (question mark) tool. We may be able to help figure out what lot it is and from there help you locate the missing dependency files.

Thanks for the picture. *:)

I don't personally recognize it, but that's not surprising since I use very little custom content. Now, is there any useful info when using the query tool on the brown boxes? Or even querying near the boxes to find out what lot they are on.

Yup, those sure look like IRM lots. As @markussaage corretcly said, make sure you have all the dependencies. It might be the Maxis Buildings as Props thingy, it might by one of the custom prop packs, or maybe you accidentally deleted the included dummy model that I used to make some of the lots.

I see some missing textures too, probably one or more of the BSC Mega Textures packs (Vol 1-3) are missing.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

@culliganman1, we did actually get your emails (we've fixed the webmaster emails, which were going nowhere prior to the site move) and replied to them.  Your last response seemed more like a general statement and did not specify any issue, so no action was taken at that time.  Now that you have clarified that you are in need of a manual password reset, I've done so (in reply to the PM you sent me over at SC4D, with details)--hopefully, you should be able to log onto the LEX now.

SC4 Devotion is still having registering issues, so I can not download the dependencies for your INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD (IRM). Very frustrating. Any help on getting these files?

I happen to be a LEX Admin as well. I don't see an account with the same username though. Message me with any emails you've tried to register with, and I can reset the password for you.
