NewmanInc content AWOL ?

How to find NewmanInc's content ?  I am working on a relot of his RailWarehouse, for which some of the original files are needed, and a google search -- after searching the cattyb repertory -- gives up nothing. (1) Has it disappeared ? (2) In which case, am I allowed to put the relevant files in the upload ?

All of it is on the LEX. I guess if you don't already have the URL listed somewhere else (EG: such as https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=613 which is Newman Inc Mega Props Vol01 or https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1548 which is Newman Inc Vol03) then there may be a delay until the LEX returns and you can search for specific file locations.

Hi! 

Do you need the file to work with or do you need the link for listing as dependency? If you need the file, i don't think it would hurt anybody to send it to you via PM or something like that, so you can start working with it, but if you need just the link as a dependency, then as Matt said, it would mean a bit of delay. But,  please DO NOT include such model or prop pack files with your uploads, because it makes things messy on the end-users side (not to mention the general policies). 

The LEX eventually will come back sooner or later. If you need the actual file, just let me know.

If it helps, I have set up a "Temporary LEX" on the forums at SC4D--there's not much there yet (just SC4Mapper), and I'm not uploading the entire LEX there, but rather, just the critical files that are needed for general community function.  More details here.

@mattb325 : I only need the link to the NewmanInc content (which you provide, thank you ; it's just a question of replacing /error etc.? by _file etc.php? for the link to be valid, I think ? At least for the present SC4D when it comes back) AND the link to that particular lot I've been relotting, i.e NewmanInc RailWarehouse because some of its files are needed for the relot to work. I can wait for it. I have other lots to work on, as you know 

@Tyberius06 : OK. I wasn't sure whether NewmanInc had really disappeared or if its disparition was resulting from SC4D's problems, as I hadn't find the lot I was looking for in cattyb's SC4 repertory. Of course I wouldn't put anything prohibited by the rules in an upload of mine.

@Tarkus : I was just going to ask if there was a hint of an ETA for SC4D's return ! Thank you so much for setting up that temporary download page. I assume/hope the basics placed there include the BSC dependency packs !

Tomorrow, I start working on it. Once I manage to put together them from my back-up folder. Not with a one go, but I'll try to help Tarkus and the LEX admins out with this temporary LEX until the main will come back. I only start uploading the general and most common dependency packages, well we will see how it works out. Also these re-uploaded dependency packages won't contain the exe installer anymore, at least in this version. I started to work for the LEX a while ago to get the rid of the exe installes, but their previously provided folder structure will be kept (f.e.: BSC/Props or BSC/Textures etc...). So it will be, from now, a drag and drop option from the zip. At least this is/has been the plan.

Well, it's not on the LEX or at least it didn't come down during my last binge-download. @tariely BUT I found it via google and under a dead torrent link. It is supposed to be on the STEX DVD vol. 02 which is not available anymore due to being outdated and stuff like this, , however it can be found on the LEX DVD too. So I actually don't know whether it was on LEX or not. There are differences between the two lot. Probably the LEX DVD version was updated with PIM-X and other stuffs, according to the images there are differences on texture level.

I try to find someone who is able tell me if it was on the LEX publicly available or only on the DVD. Also which version do you need or you only need the model file from it?

By-the-way the BSC MegaProps NewmanInc. Vol. 1 contains the necessary model files. I just checked it. So you can build up the lot from scratch using the prop pack.
