Hey Just got time for a quick update,

Yo sloppet ,how ya doing man ? tx for the not bad ,-) hehe

Hey Plug ,thx for the compliment ,When did i start using bats ,hm interesting question from a 1st time visitor,

I started using bats when i realised that most of the stuff on the stex, was not only super looking, but perfectly balanced with the game.

Always making my style of play more difficult, having larger lot area s for less sims,so seeing as using them couldnt be considered cheating

i got myself many cool comms towers, parks, plaza s, tree s,water, rocks and various other bibs and bobs,

See anything u like in my cj ,and i will trace it back to the creator.

Lifes not all Elavators ,Tunnels and garbage in New Haven,A few shots from the everyday working - mid class suburbs of the region .

    burb1a7lv.jpg

One of the largest burbs in the region ,2nd only to the industrial ghetto s at Industria

    burb1aa4dl.jpg

Most of these folks work in manufacturing

    burb22mm.jpg

A rare spotting of the Eqigoobersupertrooper Eagle ,only two mating pairs in the region.

    sub17cm.jpg

    sub28le.jpg

And a taste of things to come as the mayor allows some sims to enjoy a more luxurious lifestyle.

Hi Sloppet thx for the support as always.Dont know if your old enough m8 to

remember previous versions of SC,but this city is now crying out for Arcologies

and is ready for them ,but unfortunately Maxis ,left them

out of SC4,dunno why cos it was the arco s ,that gave you the ability to take the city

away from the present and into the future,if i remember right the forest arco

used to support 50,000 sims, looked like a big silver tree with a glass dome with a forest

in the roofspace there was about 5-6 differant ones..Prolly not matter to most of the members

on here but i hope they reappear in sc5.Buddamus.

Had to resort to a bit of shock and blast treatment on this city ,but it seems to be

growing again, dunno how much bigger its gonna get tho as the roads are choas, the subways and

rails are teaming ,and my 2 DRC,s are already well over capacity.Funny thing is tho the uni

    still only has 8400 students.

Here s a few pics to date ..

    Update time ,lol

Hi sloppet ,sup -) dangerous ,the cities only dangerous if your a

criminal ,as there s a 99.5% chance your gonna get busted, lol

Only 53 crimes last month ,mostly pie throwing and flashers(Wierdo,s)

My cops dont mess around. Tx for visiting ,obtw i visited Monk

,well im honoured u even bother with my cj after seeing yours.

Hi salbador,Welcome to my region,ye it is big ,even im suprised

didnt think i would ever get it this far,Thx for visiting and

    the compliment.

Well ive shown this pic a few times ,but localy now since the

formation of the metro this area as become  know as the

Burmuda triangle ,only several years ago some 65,535 sim commuters

went missing for nearly 4 months, devastated by thier ordeal many of

survivors sweared never to use public transport again.

The metro or triangle is made up of 9 cities and covers over 68

    sq kilometers..

    newhaven3ed.jpg

All development in these cities has been done purely to support

Dallas central, none of the cities could be classed as permenant

although all prestigious Co$$$ office blocks do have permenent

    land rights to the plots.

I only populated these areas as Dallas residents couldnt

    find all the jobs,pff!.

So my hands are tied and i cant realy tidy them up until the

capitol is finished, but i dont mind you having a look now.

    cendallas9ro.jpg

Also a bill in goverment proposes the renaming of the regions

capitol to Hong-Dallas,hopefully (well im sure they will-))

goverment will pass the bill in the next few weeks.

    Region Update

Hey Sloppet ,nice new avatar ,bit scarey tho ,lol -).

This is all i got for you today ,its not much but Njoy.

I spend far to much time playing sc4 as it is,so i try to

do the best i can in the limited time i have.

Food County & Sacred Isles of Roflslawa

--------------------------------------------------------- These lands were lost during the  wars of 1872 AD,

but have been rightfully returned to the state from which

they where stolen so long ago.Due to the risk of renewed

milatary action, these border territories have never been

populated and remain largely untouched. But since the signing

of the convention it is now safe to open these lands to

    the population.

Thx to Mr Food & Vandy for the 2 cool maps i got of the Stex

    City Update

    ---------------- dal482qy.jpg

    City Health & Education

    ---------------------------------

    school0kk.jpg

The city prides itself on having one of the best Health and educational

systems in the world, offering sims a near perfect education. The cities

    H & E bill currently runs at around $290,000 simoleaons a month.Which

by far is the cities biggest expense.

Dallas H & E system to date consists of :

    Health

    -------

2 Disease research centres ,Capacity 130,000 actual 149,000,(hope they dont strike

that would realy mess things up)

53 Large Medical Centres on $0 bus funding all over capacity.

    Education

    ----------

    20 Local libaries

    3  Main libaries

    9  Museums

    3  Major Arts Museums

    45 Large Elementry Schools,@137,000+ students

25 Large High Schools     ,@150,000+ students

    11 Colleges               ,@82,0000+ students

    1 University              ,8700      students

    0 opera House

Other things/ problems  ive started to notice are:

    Mayor rating falling -(

Enviroment quality seriously declining, due to commuter pollution.

    Commute time now 120mins

City profit margin decreased by 50%.

    Crime increasing

Many roads ,well over capacity ,worst are avenue crossroads.

    Rails and subways ,teaming

    Residents average income plummeted

    Life expectancy decreasing.

Cost of importing power and exporting garbage increasing.

Many less than half full R$$$ buildings.

    Dilapadation and R$$$ abondonment.

No Co$$$ Demand, C and I demand completely bottomed out.

4 Random orbiting Large Meteors that have entered our solar system.

Many of these problems ive been dealing with since very early days, but

with very little available land left in the city ,its getting increasingly

more difficult to encourage growth .

    Sardinas

------------- As work on Dallas draws nearer completion i was gonna draw some sc4 pics of

more rural, scenic towns and Villages, but i just cant help myself and have already

started work on the regions next Major City .im hoping to apply the things ive learned

from Dallas and grow an even bigger one -)hehe..The city has quickly established itself

in the region with a population of over 700,000.

    Satalite View of Sardinas

Hey guys ,thanx to all who have visited .

Now that the brit summer ,lol , is over, outdoors seems less appealing

so i spend most of my evenings now playing SC4 ,or other comp games again ,,yay !

Even tho i havent updated ,the region has grown quite a bit since last time .

    up1sp8.jpg

Im realy quite pleased with the regional population count at the mo.Regionaly

Co$$$ demand is maxed out and i could build skyscrapers anywhere i choose .The

Last Co$$+$$$ rollover i played added more than a million sims to the region.

Wow, that region is massive. But for being so huge, the downtown is just a sea of skyscrapers. You need a mega skyscraper  to find the center, and make it really stand out. I suggest you download the Al Burj (a skyscraper that very few know about right now) from this website, bottom right. Then it'll tower over the rest, and give your city a supercool effect.
