Rail doesn't discharge freight to a harbors?

Using the route query tools.  I only see freight moving to a harbor by truck and not rail.  Is this correct?

It's all about neighbor connections.  If your freight terminal is closer to a rail neighbor connection than the port, all freight rail traffic will depart the map using the neighbor connection.  Same thing with truck traffic.  The truck traffic that is currently going to the port is from industry that is closer to the port than from any other type of road neighbor connection.

Also, I understand that the seaport itself is no modded as a freight rail station, so it cannot unload train cars directly. You can put a freight station at a side to resolve this easily.
