@dubaidude303 I think its a safe bet that Homegoods and Trader Joe's will come eventually. Likely in a plaza that would also include Christmas Tree Shops.

@Billk2007 Not bad suggestions overall, but some (like Torrid and Apple Store) are high end stores usually only found inside malls (so pointless for me) or an outlet center. A number of those are restaurants so I have my doubts about making them unless found in a shopping plaza; though Carrabbas is an excellent brand for me to possibly use as an outparcel in a future upscale plaza.

I see many of your suggestions are regional as well which makes sense as I've never heard of some of them. Not saying I won't do them; but they are less likely when a part of a larger complex. Since Westgate Plaza was a smaller shopping plaza, it was reasonable to do more regional brands. If you didn't notice, it uses a lot of southern United States brands. Let me just say to you all that I prefer to use national brands or made up generic stores when making larger plazas that way they are usable to everyone. That's one of the reasons why I don't usually do supermarkets in my shopping centers.

Gordmans and Hobby Lobby have been made already, but it is possible I may use them again like I did for Marshalls.

I like @Billk2007 ideas and @dubaidude303 also. May I add that another Plaza with a Hobby Lobby could do good with some of you pre-existing Plops like TJMaxx, Ross, with added Gordmans, Homegoods, Burke Ouelet, DDs discounts “with Ross being near then a lot, Christmas tree shop would go good also with them all. Could also be a Your Aldi as a outpost lot, and be owned by your Walmart Supercenter. Just a idea. Also maybe a Kroger Family of Store pack like your marketplaces pack you did without another Kroger “unless you want to add it” but have many stores like Food 4 Less, Dillion’s, Fred Meyer, City Market, Ruler Foods, JayCs. Maybe a IGA Store, And a Outlet center. Just some ideas.

@RRetail, maybe here is some inspiration for you for your next shopping plaza. This shopping center is near me and it features some national brands that you have not done yet such as, Trader Joe's, Cost Plus World Market, Nordstrom Rack, Nike Factory Store, Feeders Supply, Off Broadway Shoes, Jason's Deli, Blaze Pizza, etc.. You can add stores as well to bring more variety since there are a few stores in this center that you have done. Hope this helps with some inspiration! Thanks for your hard work!

Way to throw out the suggestions! Obviously this is a lot to consider, but I do thank you for your ideas and we will see what will make the cut. I'm currently not planning to do another plaza in the short-term. I have made a Ruler Foods as a prop which will come in Prop Pack 1.5, but I kind of doubt I'll make any other Kroger brands except for possibly Fred Meyer.

Thanks @dubaidude303 for the link to a real life shopping center with a lot of brands I haven't used.

Glad to hear that. It may be a bit before they are added as I plan to do 16 brands in pack two. Currently the two above are the only ones complete.

They are “ Adventures first stop” this is a  Typical interior shown here.  They are based here in Utah and are spreading throughout the pacific and inter mountain west.   In the City or North Salt Lake they are building one across the street from the other. In Salt Lake City bear my office there’re are 5or so within a few miles and up in Davis county there are 4 on the same road within minutes of each other.  Utahns joke that they are fighting the LDS Church for territory

Lol sounds like Speedway here in Southren Ohio, and Northern Kentucky. Covington Ky has 2 Speedways in the same block and Dry Ridge Ky has a Speedway on each side of a Exit ramps. But speedway is far from “Adventure first stop”. Here is the maps picture I screenshot. Both are both city’s above. Idk why companies do this but they do. Lol

Redners Express is not very likely to happen as it is too small of a chain for me to pursue making. It could come later, but its a very low priority.

Rutters is not in the plans at the moment for the same reasons, but given that Rutters is expanding, it could be a possibility later down the line.

Turkey Hill will be made as part of gas station pack two. I just haven't worked on it yet.

Amazing how much scaling how can change the size of things. Obviously, the bigger one will no longer be supported. I'll be updating gas stations pack one shortly to replace the larger building.

Should I remove all of the previous ones in my cities before installing the new one to avoid crashes? Thanks!

I know of some places that have a Torrid & an Apple Store that's not inside a mall or is in an outward-facing strip mall. (In case you want to do it.)

The Torrid in Newport News VA is in a VERY large shopping center. (12x12? something along that scale. Definitely fits in with the other works you've done before.) It would work well with your modular shopping centers. (I can't copy the best pictures here, but if you select the images with the Google Maps link when you look up Torrid Newport News VA, the first 2 images are good.)

The Apple Stores look more like the works of other people (although you theoretically could do the Bethesda Row one, if you wanted to.)

The Apple Store in Bethesda MD (Apple Bethesda Row) is a nice 2x2 w2w CS$$$ w/ standard Apple architecture.2048x1536.png

    266e44c8ebe62f334c5b645f2e67a219.jpg

And the Apple Store in the Georgetown area of Washington DC is a 2x2 (really 1.5x2) w2w that kept the old facade and fits in with the architecture around it. (If it was made to fit in with @mattb325's Historic Shops, it would look perfect and give some flexibility to that set.)

    hero_large_2x.jpg

    georgetownapple.jpg?1371051403

Obviously I'm not expecting anyone to do these, but I thought I'd give some examples to inspire people in case they wanted to do them.

I got this one on my hard drive that I still need to render and lot along with the rest of the modular outdoor shopping center I was working on a while back.  Unfortunately it took a back seat to other projects both SC4 and IRL, but I’ll try to get it out there.

Yeah, I'm aware that there are some that are in outdoor upscale shopping centers or in a urban setting, but most are founds in malls. I'm not sure if I will make one or not at the moment. Appreciate the examples of real life instances.

Also, enjoy a new file and an updated one:
