Thanks! Its people like you who express their appreciation that makes me enjoy doing this stuff. Fun fact, I actually visited that location knowing it was the last one. A Super Kmart is on my eventual to do list, but not a priority as they do no longer exist.

And yeah, this is very likely Kmart's last holiday season. I just don't seem them surviving with so few stores.

Haven't really been pushing myself lately, but I am still working on a few things like this Home Depot.

Wow! First off, thank you for your hard work! I have a lot your lots and I love them all. After seeing these, I want to throw my hand in the ring and try making lots sometime in the future (when I have time do so *).

Have you thought about making a Super Kmart? The last Super Kmart in existence closed last year, and I believe that it would be cool to see a proper tribute to Super Kmart Centers... and Kmart in general. By the looks of it, it appears that Kmart's last Christmas season is here :(

Here's the infamous Warren, Ohio Super Kmart Center (this was the last one in existence):

I’ve never seen a Kmart that big!!!!

I just ordered a kitchen table from Kmart.com.  There isn’t a store around me.   Extra space storage has bought some of them and turned them into storage centers

All of the Kmarts around me closed last year. As soon as one closed nearby me they tore it town and made it into a Aldi, Big Lots and a Harbor Freight Tools! I hate seeing big stores just sitting empty.

The very last in my area is closing this month along with the last Sears. After have around 25 Kmart and 15 so Sears it will be a very sad to see no Kmarts anymore.... most Kmarts around here has been remodeled into Rural king, one was  tore down and made a  movie theater, one was remodeled into a big family fun gaming center, and one is a Aldi,  Burlington, and Ross now.

I'm losing my last local ones as well. Some around here are just sitting abandoned.

I just visited my last semi-local one in Williamsport on Black Friday, but that is still a drive for me and its closing now as well.

Only 2 Sears stores and 2 Kmart stores left in the metro Detroit area.

The remaining Kmart stores are closing this month. In fact, after Feb. there will be one Kmart store in all of Michigan (that being in Marshall, Michigan about 2 hours west of me). The Sears stores are still here, though.

LOL. I'm about 2 and a half hours away from Williamsport as well, but to the northwest of the city.

Also, I hope you all enjoy some competition:

Today is the last day for the last 2 Kmarts in my state. (Tabb, VA & Chesapeake, VA) I went to both of them (they weren't too far from each other) to get some last minute deals (80% off clothes? Yes please!) As I left the last one last night, in the pouring rain, I sadly said goodbye to an era. Before my parents' town got a Walmart, Kmart was Dad's go-to place. In fact, he came up with a slogan for them: "If you want to shop, you can go anywhere. But if you're going to buy, you go to Kmart." It was like saying goodbye to a part of my youth. (Theirs closed last year.)

Thank you for capturing our big box retail life so well, and making such a fitting tribute to an American institution. RIP, S.S. Kresge Company; RIP, Blue Light Special.

I've actually visited those locations last year when I went on vacation to Virginia Beach. It is sad to see them go for sure.

I'm not done with Kmart just yet, I fully intend  to make a Super Kmart at some point in the future.

Hello again RRetail, I have a question!

Last night I decided to plop a Roadside Rest Area in this city I have been working on, but I noticed that the transit connections were not showing up, as shown on the download page (and below). This is my first time using it.

    I have NAM 36 installed.

    5c390a715e64a_RRRestArea.jpg.ad03d3d89fd

edit: NEVERMIND... I figured it out. You have to connect a one way road to each side, kinda like how you would connect roads to a Car & Passenger Ferry. Anyways... *  I really love the detail in this lot! It reminds me of a rest area near Indianapolis here in Indiana, except it's a little bigger in size.

Once you play with NAM installed, one simply cannot go back!

I'm waiting for the day when someone makes a Faber College lot for SimCity 4

Something we don’t have yet is a Save A Lot/Supervalu/IGA other then the IGA that @pclark06 did. I think if you retextured the Biglot-Peebles Plaza into a Somewhat abandoned plaza with two or so options with a Save a lot and IGA Store with a Rent 2 own store, and a Dollar Store would look nices.... this is just a idea maybe for you... btw Happy New Year...

A plaza with Save a Lot will come in one of the two remaining cardinal plazas. I planned to do this from the getgo.

I like this. The little building is what  you see at gas canopies like this.

Will you update you stuff already released with this, or just the newer ones going forward?

I actually had the little buildings in the canopies before, it was just hard to see them.

But to answer your question, I do plan to redo all of my gas canopies - except for Sheetz since it was already updated.

However, I will be keeping the current Tops, Kroger, Sam's Club and H-E-B pumps as some of my relots rely on them.

@RRetail but some of @pclark06 lots has some of your gas plops also. Be nice to have a selection. As you can always do your own HBS and Sams Club in the future also! Just saying! Lol

No that is a very valid point as I forgot about that. I suppose I will be keeping the old stuff after all.
